Yeh its a weird one, would have thought the midfield talent/depth is greater at GC

High end talent is but they have no depth
Yeh agree, but when Mitchell/Burgoyne go Hawks depth is probably worse than GC yeh? Got some good kids coming through but would have thought Hallahan would be infront of them

Only 22 though, so he's basically as young as most of group anyway. Not to mention he's probably a bit better than a bit of their mid depth.

Mr.Craig

I think the words "long term offer" probably played a factor in his decision.

Says he's worried about opportunity with O'rourke coming in though. In a year GC mids will deeper imo

2nd round would be a very good outcome.

Ricochet

Hawks lads, apart from your two old boys would there be anyone else from your mids that would be infront of Hallahan currently other than these guys

Lewis
Hill
ISmith
Shiels
Langford

I would have put Woodward ahead of him. He would have felt pressure for a spot from Anderson and Hartung too, even though they play different types of roles.

Justin Bieber

First-round compo for Hallahan? Haha good joke.

Ah yep ok. yeh just trying to get my head around why he would leave for opportunity when it looks as though Hawks are a better fit. Must be some serious $$$ involved

Port confirms more than pick 17 is on table for Ryder. He says "95% of these deals end up getting done." Gorringe also on radar.

Pick or player I wonder.

Ricochet

Pies will get 5,25 and Jack Crisp. Lions will get Beams and pick 67. Story on @cmail_sport soon.

Ricochet

Pickering on trade radio that Tom Boyd will come home either this year or next year when his contract expires.

He's having a fair crack at Damien Barrett as well haha

From the start its been rumored to be Butcher + pick 17 FOR Ryder.

Mr.Craig

Would rather steak knives than Butcher.
