Wow! Don't blame him though, he'd be getting a massive offer. Remember how much they offered Lonergan?
That's definitely what they'll throw at him.

Patton gone for a majority of, if not, the season and if Boyd goes... Cam McCarthy could be getting a fair few games!
@srahul_35: The Bulldogs have offered Boyd $5.5m/6 years and $3m over the first 2 years. How can you blame a 19yo for wanting that much money?

Holy flowering shower.
Giants have said he's going nowhere, let's see how this plays out.  :o

still whispers Dempsey might get traded makes the Gwilt signing for sensible

If GWS don't trade Boyd, something tells me that there might be another wooden spoon in our future in 2015. We'll get him now, or next year with pick 1. GWS are just delaying the inevitable, same as we're doing if we keep Griffen.

Is he really worth $1.5m per year for the first two?

Haha probably. How many is that, 27 spoons now? Either way, Boyd could just refuse to sign, refuse to agree to any trades, put himself in the draft and the Giants end up with nothing while Boyd ends up back in Vic on a huge contract.

Don't mind this

Griff + N6 for Boyd + 2nd rounder
Waaaaay overs from the Dogs considering both players now want to leave.

Straight swap, maybe Griff + second rounder surely.

Boyd is a key fwd and was last years number 1 pick man. Griffen is a midfielder and 29 next year. Plus GWS have said Boyd is not up for trade. Bullies will have to pay to get him.
Griff + N6 for Boyd + 2nd rounder is fair imo, and won't be surprised if Bullies offer a later pick than the 2nd rounder

I assumed that it meant Collingwood on-traded Pick 25. Although technically then it shouldn't have Pick 25 listed under both "ins" and "outs" for Collingwood ;)
