Is Travis Cloke the biggest potato in the AFL?

Not heaps, you obviously know way more there than I do man haha but it's still got to be  solid.

Yeah Elliot and White are doing nicely.

But he has just been sooooo bad this year, in the air and on the ground.

The point is Cloke sucks. :P

Spite

We just aren't using him much this year. His ground work has always sucked :P

I really believe that when Reid comes back (everyone forgets how good Reid is), Cloke will not be double teamed at all and should add that 2-3 goals per game. Watch from when Reid is back and Clokes numbers should improve dramatically but still not to the same heights as previous years - lets say an 85 SC average from when Reid is back :P

3 Quarter Time update:

Travis Cloke has kicked as many goals as the entire 22 man Carlton team.

He still has more behinds than goals.

Such an underwhelming player

To be fair, some of the angles he's had to kick from tonight weren't exactly easy.

Toga

He does some good things and then some really flowering god-awful things. Huge talent but very much a confidence player.

Then he shouldn't be kicking from the boundary line or if he wants to take marks there he should learn to kick.

His kicking for goal is well below AFL standard

???
I would say he is above average.
Sure, he kicks more behinds than goals, but so do most teams, so you can't exactly say 'below standard'.
He is just about the best set shot from 50+ in the entire game in my opinion, and although his kicking from <40 is shaky, the same can be said for a large portion of the player base imo.

Vinny

2 goals, 4 behinds. One goal was off a free kick. Delist the spud!

Noz

Cloke has about 70% of shots on goals outside the 50 close to the boundary line and thats where Collingwood want from him. Cloke pushes wide to get his marks because in the middle they have Witts, White and Elliot all capable of taking strong marks so why not get your best key forward to push out towards the boundary line outside 50 taking the opposing best key defender with him.

Really? most competent players can drill well over 50% of the shots they get inside 50 and are much better than they are outside 50.

Cloke struggles to kick a goal from 10 metres out on a 10 degree angle. He pretty much single handedly almost cost Collingwood their only premiership in 2012 missing from point.

All Cloke will ever be is a long kick and a strong mark. He can just be glad that his black and white teammates come on the football field to carry him to victory

Guess he would fit  in at the Swans then with  Buddy, Tippet and Reid!
