It`s that time of the year where we bid farewell and also welcome some new faces to the team.
Firstly farewell to Ash McGarth who has retired we wish him all the best for the future.
We also farewell Beau Waters and Mitch Clark who both were unavailable all season for the team.We hope they have better luck at their new club Hungarian Hippos under coach Holzman.
In order to fill a couple of holes left by Waters,Clark and McGrath we had to make a big decision and this meant we had to move on 2 players highly regarded by the coaching staff at the Crushers.
We bid farewell to Cyril Rioli who is a fantastic player but unfortunately was plagued by injuries for a large part of the season.
And this years Best and Fairest Nathan Fyfe has also left the team.It was a big decision to trade him but with other able mids in the team and requiring a top forward to lead our forward line we unfortunately had to move Fyfe on.We wish both Cyril and Nathan good luck at their new club 2014 premiers Iceland Polar Bears under coach HP and assistant coach Daz

Welcome to the Croatian Crushers

Robbie Gray

James Frawley

Both come to the Crushers from the Polar Bears.
We hope they can both help push the Crushers up off the bottom half of the ladder

In some new trading news the Crushers decided to continue boosting the teams player stocks by trading out a few National draft picks for players including National pick 3.
After shopping the picks around and having no takers the coach of Iceland HP came to us with an offer we couldn`t refuse. After a couple of tweaks to the trade we are pleased to welcome our 2 newest recruits Scott Selwood and Chris Mayne.
Scooter will really help us out in the midfield and we are hoping he returns to his 2013 form and can stay injury free.
Mayne boost our forward stocks nicely he is another player who was down on form this year so again we are hoping he can return to his 2013 form.

Yet another trade between Iceland and Croatia sees us lose our leading goal kicker for the year Matthew Pavlich due to an overload in the forward line and lack of mid depth,we wish Matthew all the best at Iceland. So now we welcome
