Goddard won 71.3% of his disposals in the midfield last year, the second-highest percentage of his career. He also attended 35% of centre bounces, up from 25% in 2016. He wasn't robbed of anything.
What were those percentages with first 6 rounds vs rest of the rounds

Couldn't tell ya. That was just straight from his player profile in the Prospectus.
Yeah he played pure mid first 6 rounds then moved behind ball

Pacific have a ceiling of 145 when Mitchell doesn't ton up but still have the second highest floor of all top 8 teams. As long as they don't come up against Toronto with a sub-100 captain they should be right. Having a good captain doesn't seem to phase New Delhi or Christchurch TOO much. Berlin's reliance on Fyfe and Gawn is on full display while Dublin and Beijing better nail their captaincy choice come finals otherwise they might as well not even show up. It would be unfair to read into Seoul's numbers too much given Danger has only scored below 100 just once and doesn't look like happening again.

Holz

Kinda abit flawed since dublin hasnt even got a go to captain and pretty much the form team of the comp when you take out captains

Id say having my urilities score 180+ as opposed to 50 a bigger factor.

Also id love to see these numbers but with 140+ which is nailimg captaincy

RaisyDaisy

Yeah I'm not sure those numbers really mean much

A captain going 100-120 etc isn't really a big deal - in fact it's expected

It's no real surprise really, if you've got Titch, Gawn, Grundy etc the highest scoring guys in the entire game then you've got a massive leg up every week and even more so when they go huge

Everyone very quick to shut down this discussion but that definitely took a LOT of work and time. Very informative Adamant.

Overall, it is still interesting to see how different these scores are.

Just looking at form heading in to the finals with HGA excluded and then secondly without captains to see who truly relies on their captain.

Form Power Rankings

1. Pacific  151.3
2. Dublin  151.1
3. Toronto 150.0
4. Beijing 144.5
5. Seoul 141.2
6. New Dehli 138.8
7. Berlin 130.5
8. Christchurch 126.6

Form Power Ranking Without Captain Bonus

1. Toronto 140.0
2. Dublin 139.6
3. Pacific 136.0
4. Beijing 132.0
5. Seoul 128.6
6. New Dehli 128.1
7. Berlin 117.5
8. Christchurch 116.2

140+ games without Captain

1. Dublin/Toronto 2
3. Beijing/Pacific 1
5. Seoul, NDT, Berlin, Christchurch 0

130+ games without Captain

1. Dublin/Toronto/Pacific 4
4. Beijing Seoul 2
6. NDT, Berlin Christchurch 1

Not too much surprising stuff there, Pacific clearly the team who has relied on the captain the most dropping from a #1 to a #3 when you take out the captain. Toronto looking the overall most solid side without a captain.

Pretty irrelevant unless i missed the rule were we voted out captain bonus in finals...

Well it shows how much you rely on your captain.

So if your captain is matched by the other teams captain then it cancels out.

whats its saying if Toronto's captain can come within 40 points of Titch then Toronto should win. That actually hasnt happened in the last month.

However ill back Macrae + 40 against Titch.
Ill even back Dusty + 36 v Titch

I have the ladder going this way

Round 1

Pacific def Beijing (very close could lose on HGA)
NDT def Christchurch
Dublin def Berlin

Round 2

Seoul def NDT
Dublin def Beijing (very close could lose on HGA)

Round 3

Toronto def Dublin (on HGA)
Pacific def Seoul

Round 4

Toronto def Pacific
