Breakers

DEF: Mitchell Golby, Lachie Henderson, Heath Shaw, Colin Garland/Darcy Gardiner
MID: Daniel Rich, Joel Selwood (c), Steele Sidebottom,  Brent Moloney/Blake Acres
RUCK: Matthew Lobbe
FWD: Adam Goodes,  Eddie Betts, Josh J Kennedy, Leroy Jetta/Mitch Harvey
UTIL: Leigh Montagna; Adam Cooney

Other than our forward line, I think we got a pretty good team.

Ringo

Still think that Werewolves though are the Team to beat not to foreshadow his team but with Players like Ablett, Fyfe. Priddis, Gibbs, Roughead, Gunston, Cox, Hibberd, Ball and Fisher forming the crux will be hard to beat.

rich have fun relying on Jetta and Harvey to even get games

We also have the option to also move Henderson forward and use other defenders.

Justin Bieber

Suggesting 3 players who haven't played one game yet, surely doesn't equate as a pretty good side

Nige

The Lobsters have a a better team than the Owls, that's one team we'll definitely beat.

Memphistopheles

Tough to pick a starting line up for the Cruisers at the moment but there's a lot to like. Not going to win this season though.

DEF: Paul Seedsman - Ryan Harwood - Curtly Hampton - Nick Suban
MID: Travis Boak (C) - Nathan Jones - Jack Redden - Dale Thomas
RUC: Mike Pyke
FWD: Mitch Robinson - Jarrad Waite - Devon Smith - David Hale
ULT: Allen Christensen - Daniel Jackson

The defence is hard to pick. We have Luke Delaney, Phil Davis and Cale Hooker all possibly pushing for a spot.

Forward depth extends to Jackson Paine, Jordan Murdoch and Shaun Edwards

Jack Martin is on the books but we're not sure he'll be best XV in his first season. Other midfield depth includes Tom Bell, Jamie MacMillan and Mitchell Grigg while our other ruck options we have Robbie Warnock and Mark Jamar.

I don't see why we can't push for the 8. I think almost everyone in that best XV has some upside so if they all come on at once then we could push higher.

not great forward depth especially with Waite

Yes I agree. Thomas not being fwd/mid dpp kind of hurt us.

Hence our last trade to move out Currie and Simpkin and get in Delaney and Paine.

Paine at a new club and Murdoch with more opportunities should both improve and hopefully one might take Waite's s[ot in a couple of seasons time and/or fill in for him adequately next season.

Ringo

Great Banter guys and keep it going well done.

Not out of the question Rico. Will be an interesting competition this year.

probably not the right place to post here but going to anyway rather than start a new thread,

As I will be looking at the draw over the next few weeks just need to know who your rivals are for the rivalry round,

This is the rivalry round from this year
1. Newcastle Falcons v Huddersfield Hawks (Raptors Cup)
2. Bradford Badgers v Crosby Cruisers
3. Winchester Warewolves v Birmingham Bombers
4. Liverpool Lobsters v Staines Steins (LiveStein Cup)
5. Manchester Magic v Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs (Red Cross Cup)
6. Leeds Leeches v Nottingham Hoods
7. Bilston Bunnies v Swindon Swaggers
8. Grope Lane Giants v Swansea Breakers (Lion Shield)
9. Oxford Owls v Hastings Hurricanes

Feel free to change rivals if you desire as we have a number of new coaches and they may wish to establish new rivalries. Make sure opposing coach though is happy with the rivalry.

Post any changes of rivalries here
