Melbourne Demons club doctor Dan Bates has stood aside, pending the outcome of ASADA's investigation into preseason supplements used at the club.

This week the ABC's 7.30 program broadcast claims that the Demons had a detailed supplements regime which it ran in close association with sports scientist Stephen Dank.
