Ok guys, here's that write up I've been promising. Batsmen kick it off...

Dave Warner (115k): We know about this man. Only available for one match, so maybe not the best pick, but still worth considering for one match?? Up to you...

Travis Birt (109k): Obviously in consideration due to his incredible tournament last year, but since then has been a little less amazing. Has played OS and under performed, but if he can recapture his form from las year, he will be a great pick.

Chris Gayle (95k): This guy is the best big hitter in world cricket, so it's hard to turn him down. Won't play the first match, but after that you would be an absolute idiot not having him in your team.

Aaron Finch (81k): Man, he can hit a ball! Been on absolute fire in the Ryobi Cup and looks like a lock for every team. GET. HIM. IN!

Brad Hodge (80k): When you think Australian Domestic cricket you think Brad Hodge. A reliable pick opening the batting for the Stars after a switch from the Renegades. I'd have him i for the Stars' double early...

Aiden Blizzard (69k): Blizzard had a down year last year, but opening the batting for the Hurricanes should come with runs. Look for him to take over Birt's role as he (Birt) has had a poor run on the domestic scene lately.

Ricky Ponting (66k): After announcing his retirement only the other day, Punter hinted that his main focus would be on playing for the Hurricanes. Does this mean runs? Who knows... Pick with caution.

Simon Katich (49k): He's cheap, opening the batting and in good form. He had a great tournament OS, averaging 49 in the Champions League. Fools gold? To be honest, I'd be sticking well away from Perth players, the whole team is a rabble there.

Callum Ferguson (44k) We all know this guy has talent, after all he has played for Australia, but will we ever see it again? at a ‘rookie’ price this year he seems a great value pickup if he can find form.

Usman Khawaja (38k): Like Ferguson, this guy has serious talent. He is on fire at the moment in the SS and RC and hopefully will make runs in a weak batting lineup of the Thunder.

Peter Handscomb (36k): The bench spot in the batsmen should come down to this guy and Usman. Currently will keep for the Stars from rounds 2 onwards, so hopefully will get some good latter order runs and take a few nice catches.

What are everyone's thoughts on Chris Rogers? Will he get a game at the Thunder and how might he go? Very cheap so he could be a smokey.

Seeing as he can struggle to get a game in Victoria's One Day side, I'm not too sure about that.

Ok guys, few things...

First, the write ups suck compared to the ones over at Supercoach HQ. Check the forum addressed to the Fox version for the links...

Second, Let's get some teams up! A bit of activity would be nice for a change so I will kick it off. This is the team I am 90% sure I will head into round 1 with...

Warner*, Finch, Harris, Klinger, (Khawaja)
Hussey, Hopes, (Pollard**)
Haddin, (Hartley)
Krejza, Faulkner, Beer, Putland, (Cutting)

*Warner to be traded to Bayle after rd 1.
**Pollard will be on the field over Hopes usually... He misses round 1 along with the rest of the WI players, so watch for that.

Does that mean gayle wont play rnd 1

Popey99

Yes mate, i believe I have said that earlier on... Anyway, the best way to go (if u have the cash) is to get Warner in and then trade him to Gayle as he will be back on Test duty and Gayle will be free.

Very Stars-heavy (6 out of my 15 are from them) but they look to be a very strong side and a very strong points-scoring side too

Wasn't interested until I read $10,000 cash for the winner

WTF I typed in 'The Nailers' as team name... got called 'The Mao' lol

No idea who to put in though tbh. Never paid attention to this T20 rubbish.

I personally dont rate Khawaja in this form of the game. His technique sets up for test cricket.Like everything else here.

Tominator

How many trades do you get per week?

Nails

Might help (for activity) if you mention cash prizes ($10,000) in the title. I wasn't interested until I saw I could win cash money.

Tominator

Hughes, Hodge or Maddinson for my last batting spot?
