Thoughts

Hale went from a player I thought was a total spud to another player North shouldn't have traded this year. He stepped everything in his game up to a new level, and has been a surprisingly important part to the success of the Hawks.

If he does retain that R/F MPP, he is definitely worth looking at to make a link between your ruck and forward lines this season. We were probably all burnt by injured ruckmen this season, so having the extra cover that MPP link would provide could prove invaluable.

Verdict

He is on the older side at 28, but I can't see him or the Hawks falling too dramatically in 2013. I'll probably pick him up just to cover those inevitable injuries.

Prediction

He'll probably stagnate around where he averaged this year - 97.

roo boys!

If you are going for the F/R may as well splash out a little extra and get Roughy IMO.

Adamant

His R/F DPP is handy, but I would rather Roughy tbh.

you'd be annoyed if you picked him expecting to average 97 and he gives you 83 instead. fail
