Even in his 2012 form, Gaff wouldn't make our field.

he would when all your old mids retire / drop off

Only Tuck from our mids has a chance of retiring at the end of the year.

However, if Sam Mitchell and Andy Walker gain backline status next year (which is a very high possibility), Gaff would probably make my utilities.

Imagine our backline then lol:

Sam Mitchell, Beau Waters, Paul Duffield, Andrew Walker
(Danny Stanley, Greg Broughton and Bob Murphy on the bench)

Need to start getting rid of these guys in the next trade period!

Mitchell could retire if Hawks win the grand final this year

I agree I think Mitchell is pretty keen to start coaching.

Would you stop doing what you love? Especially after losing another final to Geelong, or Swans, or Bombers

NO NOT YET - becasue the emergency he will use will be OUT OF POSITION I need to wait for the other one to play as he gets the one which is highest scorer. Could be Jamar... not likley but could be so that score is not added next to Carlile yet.
