In the lead-up to the Swans round 8 home match against Melbourne, which will celebrate the Club’s 30 years in Sydney, sydneyswans.com.au is collating the 30 Defining Moments of the Swans in Sydney in chronological order.

The 30 Defining Moments have been selected by Sydney Swans Chairman, Richard Colless, Deputy Chairman, Andrew McMaster, and Swans Hall of Fame inductee and former Club captain, coach, and director, Rick Quade.

Let see if we can name them (doesnt have to be in order).

I'll say that Nick Davis magic in the 2005 Semi-Final (I think) is my favourite Swan match. That still remains one of the most exciting matches I've ever seen.

Surely "That mark" will be one of the defining moments...

I think this is my 2nd fav game, after the 05 GF, Nick Davis game 3rd.

Things like Pluggers 1300th goal. Gerard Healy and Diesel Williams coming and going. Ron Barassi's year in charge. 1996 GF. Paul Kelly and Adam Goodes Brownlows. People power paul Roos appointment.

There are some I reckon will rate.

What about
Signing Plugger from the saints
Mike Willessee and others helping the swans out of financial troubles

and i cant remember who it was against but Darryn Creswell (who never took a mark overhead) taking 2 overhead marks to convert to 2 goals to win a game during the finals

Darryn Creswell knocking his knee back into place after it dislocated!!

30 defining moments is a lot in 30 years.

They'd have to go into the lesser known ones

They'd put Roos' retirement in I'd guess
