St Kilda to drop to 7th?! Any reasoning beind that...

IMHO
For any side to finish top 4 they need a relatively injury free season as St Kilda had this year .. the question is will the Saints have as good a run with injuries in 2010 and if they do cop injuries, how will they cope ?

The Cats had a bad run with injuries throughout the latter half of the year and still managed to make the GF and win it .. they still have strong list so with any normal luck they will be thereabouts in 2010

Bulldogs were very unlucky in 2009 and will be better this year .. a lock in for top 3 in my opinion

Hawks completely stuffed the pre-season and then were decimated with injury .. if they get it right and have a bit of luck they will be a big danger and most likely a top 4 side

Very disappointed with Adelaide's final performance against Collingwood but played some blinders throughout the year, will improve and have a great crop of young players 5th

Contrary to popular opinion I reckon Carlton will be so much better off without Fev, remember it's a team game and Fev ain't team (at Carlton anyway). Have a great young midfield which will improve further 6th

Lions will be great in 2010 and will be able to control Fev better than Blues did 7th

From 8th onwards - take your pick from Woods (I reckon the 2010 sliders), Bombers, Sydney etc etc

ok here are my choices

1) StKilda (Unlucky to lose the GF This year but will improve)
2) Western Bulldogs (Now they have Barry Hall they will make the GF If hall doesn't stuff up)
3)Geelong (There moving down after 3 years up the top)
4) Brisbane (Now they have Brown and Fevola down foward i don't know how they will lose)
5)Collingwood(Oh i can't believe im saying that there fifth)
6)Adelaide( They should be higher but better teams are)
7)Essendon( They need a good start win the games they should and they might even be fifth)
8)Hawthorn(Get a pre-season into them)
9)Carlton(Fevola!)
10)Richmond(Got rid of the 30 year olds will make a difference)
11)Sydney(Jolly and all the retirees won't do them any good)
12)West Coast(Went well and the end of 2009)
13)Fremantle(Proved they can make upsets happen if they do that alot they might be higher up
14)North Melbourne(I don't think there at the AFL standards yet)
15)Melbourne(Watts, Scully to come through yet)
16)Port Adelaide(No comment)
