Paul Scholes has officially retired as a footballer. He will take on a coaching role at Manchester United next season.
Got to say I did expect this so not surprised. Hopefully he can become a good coach and transfer his experience as a player on to the younger players.
I also give Giggs one more season and he will retire next year

Yep no suprise like you said. Giggs still playing good football but he time is drawing near. Would have thought he would hang up his boots as well and go into coaching, but he's just postponing it if playing on :P.
