I reckon Chappy is a bigger injury risk.

I want to keep Higgins - he's a gun and has been playing really well.

Problem is Higgins out, Rioli out, Krak bye. Leaves me with no cover in FWDs and lots of Rookies on the ground (all safe bets to play tho - Darling, Tapscott, Matera). Reckon I'll just risk it though and leave as is. Better not be any other withdrawls tho from Pav, Goodes, N Roo, or Petrie!

in your circumstance i would be inclined to trade higgins.

Higgo is a gun! Unfortunately he is made of butter. Yes he may be back in 2 weeks, but he will surely get "general soreness" again through the year. Bet thankful he didn't get injured during a game and cost you points. Take the cash you have made from him and run!

I have Higgins, Rioli and Yarran so I am starting to think one of them has to go, I am just trying to figure out which one

My forward line currently is:

Pavlich, Franklin, Goodes, Higgins, Darling, Tapscott, Petrie (Krakouer, Matera, Dixon)

Higgins injury troubles and krak on a bye leaves me no guaranteed cover, and want to end up with Chappy in the side at some stage anyway (along with nick roo, possibly didak, cyril, other upgrades)

SHOULD I downgrade duigan in defence to say hibberd if named, then jump on board chappy? Rest of my side is pretty strong. Was ranked 600 last week back to 1400ish after terrible week. Opinions guys?

for what ur buying in chappy at i dont like his injury risk
if he was a 100thou less might be a different story
fyfe is a better option.
or get someone in ur midfield

god damn there is always one unlucky soul.  this is where the sideways trade last week was probably desirable to probably Jroo.

I would let go of Higgins first.

I expect some huge deviations in Yarrans price but should bounce back up to 370,000 in the future if you are patient.

Rioli i would probabably hang on to as well.

forgot to mention problem 2 - I have already used 5 trades so far this year. Will wait for teams on Fri then decide - but if all are named then I am going to leave it.

Muphy's Law suggests that if you trade out Higgins - who should only be out 1 more week with general soreness - then whoever you bring in will get seriously injured and be out for ages... ::)

Chappy is a good option don't worrie about his price or injury, chapman will win you more leage games this year or will boost your rank more then any player as he is always consistent and scores very big.

Plays down at SS this week should have a field day good captian choice too with swan and pendles out!!

even with 5 trades used, in your position i would still think about upgrading higgins to a premium forward

when it comes to these things you got to be ruthless when you see any warning signs, especially if they have a track record of injuries.

The thing I am afraid of is that his performance will suffer in the future as a direct result of this.

Rioli you know will miss some weeks, but it doesn't seem to have the same affect on his performances.  He still guns it.

Bennyy

Yeah its definitely a tough one. Not one who is going to drop majorly in price, but is one we all want! Im unsure. If it was guaranteed higgins be back in 1 week id probably leave it but who knows!

ajjewell

I have been leaning towards giving Higgins the boot, will just be waiting a couple of days to see who will fit the best for my team

meow meow

Higgins will only miss the Syd game.
