The match ratings will show why you beat me :

Taufel no wickets is interesting...

chrisuzz

i know his 29 but at that price i might just take a bite of that cherry
;D

chrisuzz

McDowall brings up his 50 :) Would like it if he would bat a bit faster though

That is 50 runs for McDowall (52 runs, 48b 3x4 2x6) SR:108.33
30.1 4 Vogt to McDowall : The ball tantalizes Farooq right to the boundary. Four runs to the total.

Alex7089

Only if he stays cheap but very nice Daz 8)

Scorecard: http://fromthepavilion.org/scorecard.htm?gameId=889787

Kaushik scored yet another hundred in his 3rd outting for my team but went out. Walter Matthews, my 30 year old new recruit who was brought in to rest a few others top scored with a 160 not out from 104 balls. McCathy was in great form, with a solid 84 off 54 balls and Baker once again was also solid with a 68 from 51.

Out on the bowling innings, aiming to stop them from getting the 429 they needed to win, a few quick wickets put them in early trouble. Permaul had a catch dropped on the first ball of the innings, only to bowl him the next one. He went on to post 6-68 on a pitch that favoured the batsmen being flat and in hot weather. Adams and Taylor both chipped in with wickets, but were the 2 most costly bowlers with 73 and 71 hit off them retrospectively. Lidgerwood also chipped in with a wicket.

Alexander for their team managed to belt out a 179 off 145 before being ran out, which helped out for them to chase us down, but fell well short.

Man of the Match: Matthews for his not out effort.
Alexander and Permaul were 2nd and 3rd for their solid efforts.
