at least i'm 2 games clear of 3rd place even with his win today

8-6 Suited

End of over 25 (5 runs) - Tickle My Timber(112-1). 159 runs required from 25 overs. RR 4.48 RRR 6.36
J. McCarthy 38 (40b) , K. Kaushik 46 (69b) , W. Jackson 8-0-36-0

Drinks time, in comparison to Daves Dragons FC:

Him: 4/101
Me: 1/112

So I am just ahead of him as it stands.

DazBurg

god i know there luck in it but sometimes it seems complete crap here is his list from top to bottom of who played today just looked at some of the fatigue there

Listless
Satisfactory
Shattered
Revived
Rested
Rested
Passable
Rested
Shattered
Rested
Rested

and i outrated him by 2k which isn't much but combined with that fatigue i shouldn't of lost i think

End of over 29 (1 run) - Mike Whitney's afro!(126-3). 74 runs required from 21 overs. RR 4.34 RRR 3.52
B. England 0 (5b) , H. Mathea 19 (31b) , J. Terpstra 5-0-23-0

Getting Hjardrgod was key, he was killing Alex. Don't count him out yet

8-6 Suited

Kaushik gone for 55. At least he finally got some runs on the board though. In comes Baker.

26.4   W   Jackson to Kaushik : [catch] Bouncer, and hooked straight to the man in the deep! Out!
K. Kaushik c O. Young b. W. Jackson 55 (74b 1x4 2x6) SR:74.32

End of over 27 (10 runs) - Tickle My Timber(134-2). 137 runs required from 23 overs. RR 4.96 RRR 5.96
J. Baker 6 (1b) , J. McCarthy 41 (46b) , W. Jackson 9-0-46-1

30.5 W McIntyre to England : Short of a good length delivery on the stumps, England makes room and takes a swing. The ball clips the top edge and balloons up towards mid-on.
B. England c B. Yavar b. S. McIntyre 5 (11b 1x4 0x6) SR:45.45

End of over 31 (4 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(134-4). 66 runs required from 19 overs. RR 4.32 RRR 3.47
H. Mathea 22 (37b) , A. Hogg 0 (0b) , S. McIntyre 6-1-21-2

CrowsFan

O'Brien to Molony : [dropped]  Molony hits a leading edge and there is confusion on the field as Doyle and O'Brien both shout "MINE". The players collide and the ball spills from Doyle's hands, with Molony looking on with amusement.

Argh not happy!

BratPack

End of over 33 (3 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(148-4). 52 runs required from 17 overs. RR 4.48 RRR 3.06
A. Hogg 9 (11b) , H. Mathea 26 (39b) , S. McIntyre 7-1-24-2

Rooster settling it down. He's just about there....

33.1 W Terpstra to Mathea : This is why batting against spin is an art form few truly possess. Terpstra has flighted this one. Mathea's tried to defend it from the crease but just loops it up to Sheehan at short leg. Simple catch and a simple dismissal.
H. Mathea c S. Sheehan b. J. Terpstra 26 (40b 1x4 0x6) SR:65.00

Maybe not..

Comparison after 34 overs

Alex 4/140
Rooster 5/149

Tightening the screws

8-6 Suited

End of over 32 (4 runs) - Tickle My Timber(153-2). 118 runs required from 18 overs. RR 4.78 RRR 6.56
J. McCarthy 50 (62b) , J. Baker 15 (15b) , A. Herbert 6-0-24-1

Solid batting just easing on the runs slowly and safely.

Comparison after 32 overs.

Him: 4/129
Me: 2/153

8-6 Suited

Now that hurt...

End of over 36 (4 runs) - Tickle My Timber(171-4). 100 runs required from 14 overs. RR 4.75 RRR 7.14
J. McCarthy 60 (77b) , O. Carson 3 (1b) , A. Herbert 8-0-30-3

35.6   3   Herbert to Carson : Carson hasn't quite timed that one and it's a long chase for Burke from the covers. A great throw from the boundary but he can't stop Carson picking up three runs there.
35.5   W   Herbert to Lidgerwood : Towers showing why he wears the gloves as he takes the ball from down leg and whips the bails off before the batsman gets his foot back down.
P. Lidgerwood st T. Towers b. A. Herbert 0 (1b 0x4 0x6) SR:0.00
35.4   W   Herbert to Baker : What a wicket that was! Extraordinary, superb, fantastic...Herbert is ecstatic with the amount of turn he got on that delivery.
J. Baker b. A. Herbert 20 (22b 0x4 1x6) SR:90.91

Yep that would have to suck.

Back at the FF match of the day

End of over 40 (7 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(170-5). 30 runs required from 10 overs. RR 4.25 RRR 3.00
A. Hogg 19 (29b) , D. Haynes 11 (23b) , J. Terpstra 10-0-48-1

Comparison after 40 overs
Alex 7/177
Rooster 5/170

The pendulum is swinging again.

End of over 41 (9 runs) - Mike Whitney's afro!(179-5). 21 runs required from 9 overs. RR 4.37 RRR 2.33
A. Hogg 21 (31b) , D. Haynes 18 (27b) , P. Jackson 6-0-30-1

Big over. C*ck-a-doodle-doo anyone?

8-6 Suited

End of over 38 (2 runs) - Tickle My Timber(185-4). 86 runs required from 12 overs. RR 4.87 RRR 7.17
O. Carson 13 (11b) , J. McCarthy 63 (80b) , A. Herbert 9-0-32-3

From 12 runs to 2 runs lol

Over comparison time:

Them: 4/162
Mine: 4/185

Whilst it may look like a bad position given the RRR I need and my current RR, I'm in a comfortable position. Just need my boys to start putting them on to make sure I get the required runs in the last 11 overs.

BratPack

43.2 W Grey to Hogg : Conflicting decision by Hogg and Haynes shows a flaw in democracy when one says no, and the other says yes - worse when they're both in the middle of the pitch. Hogg takes responsibility as Khan strikes the bails.
A. Hogg run out (J. Terpstra) 23 (36b 0x4 1x6) SR:63.89

12 required. Could be too little too late
