Trainor to Carroll is probably one of the trades that makes sense. You could do O'Sullivan to someone like Trac using Stone who has a couple of soft kills coming up in Richmond and WC. It also allows you to push Cleary to the bench.

Otherwise, would you consider Flynn? He is due to make some really good coin but the JS is horrific.

Finally back and can do proper checking and things haven't got better since I went away. A pretty mediocre week only rescued by xerri and his big score.

Short out didn't help and nearly all my rookies crashed hard. O'Sullivan, Cleary, Hewett, Moraes, Hamling were all bad ... Erasmus and Hustwaite had to deal with sub vests. So many rookies not playing either. Rookies this year have been a real struggle. With 'premos' wasn't that crash hot. Dawson and Daicos tagged again, Neale not sighted.

Not sure where to go from here. Have cash in the bank but think it might be best to see who gets named. With Darcy out McDonald should get a run again so could come in for Bice. Hamling needs to go. Could swing Hewett forward and get Boxshall. Otherwise could upgrade to a premo

It's a bit of an awful week with the outs and lack of rookies. Boxshall is on an extended bench but was given a tagging job last week and did okay even though he didn't win the ball.

Personally I am considering an O'Sullivan to El-Hawli trade for some cash gen. TDK out is not helpful either, although I think I just run with the ruck donut knowing the flex score is there. I'd look at Moraes to someone like Steele who is sitting under 500k or Sinclair. If you have the boost, you could look at maybe getting TDK out of your team.

I was hoping to trade both Bice and Hamling this week. But with TDK out it throws a curveball in. If Boyd gets named I'll keep TDK, if not then can trade him to like a Marshall. Then can go Bice to Sinclair/Clark. Think I'll have to ride Hamling one more week and then next week he becomes Simpson. Means I could miss Boxshall if he's named but such is the year with rookies he could be a late out or vest :P

Well everything is not good this week. Short out again. I'll have to keep him for the time being. I'll emergency on Carroll and if he scores well will put Short back on the field. Otherwise have to roll the dice with O'Sullivan and hope he isn't vested which looking at the team he might be.

Will swing Tunstill FWD and put Erasmus into MIDS, if he doesn't get start vest he'll come onto the field. I wanted to get rid of Hamling this week but will have to hold him and thinking of going Bice to Clark and TDK to Gawn which would leave me no money or possibly Marshall. Giving me some cash.

Then next week Hamling becomes Simpson.

It's nice when a gamble pays off for once. Struggled with what to do but pulled the pin and went TDK to Marshall and Bice to Sinclair. Paid dividends with Marshall smashing it and Sinclair doing his normal thing. Was against the Eagles though. Marshall has been doing better last 4 weeks so hope he keeps that run going. A few down players this but generally better so that's good.

Hoping a few fringe rookies get a go this coming week. Moraes should be in starting 22 at port considering injuries. Husswaite had good game in reserves, could be back. Don't think Allan gets a go considering eagles won but short should be back. So barring any injuries or surprise outs it should be Hamling out and looks to become Simpson. Then could do Cleary to Warner or Petracca

That is an option. O'sullivan right on his BE so tempted to keep him and trade him week after maybe as Hamling is bleeding money and will further.

Yeah just saw that one too. I knew my good week wasn't to be celebrated too early. Hopefully Macrae one isn't bad and depending teams might be able to hold both of them with byes around the corner

You've been smashed with injuries. Short is another fortnight with a calf now and then you have Callaghan and Macrae. It feels like a season where it's 1 step forward and 3 steps back.

If it wasn't so funny this season with all the crap going on I think I'd cry. Another disastrous round. I held Macrae as they said only 2-3 week injury so thought may as well hold as I had other underperforming rookies I needed to offload. Took out Callaghan for his injury and brought in Hewett. He'd only been under 100 once the whole season and that was round 1 so thought he's safe and he dishes up a 64. Took out Hamling and brought in Simpson only for him to go down in the opening minutes. Then Reid also has an injury and with his history he'll be cautions. So yeah just gets better and better.

Only have 15 trades left and team is nowhere near finished. The byes offer some relief but yeah just trying to get a team on the park now. I think Reid has to go, Rozee to DEF and bring in maybe Merrett. Then depending on the injury to Simpson will bring in Gray for him maybe or Cleary.

Just can't take a break this season so will just try get through at this stage

This season has been brutal for cash generation, it's why I'm looking at a guy like Rowell who might give me 80k or thereabouts.

One trade I may entertain for next week is Short to Butters via Rozee, DPP incoming which makes him the logical D6.

Okay bit of a left field idea. Depending on teams etc but I could go Reid out and Rozee to DEF, bring in Merrett. The do Hewett and Cleary out. Bring in Petracca and Gray. Leaves my DEF done although carrying Short and Roberts but happy to for now. MIDS will need 2 more upgrades and FWD's with one. Have 12 trades left so as long as a few of my fringe rooks get games.

Only leaves me with 5.5k but following week can do O'sullivan to Clarke if he keeps getting games to give more cash. Can then turn Moraes to someone in a couple weeks. I just need 2 of Hustwaite, Tunstill and Allan to get games to get the cash gen up then should be enough to complete team

Another week, another below par performance. Had only 19 players and with Cleary and Allan being the subs meant I had to take a 6 in my score. Just can't catch a break with my trades. Brought in Merrett and Petracca and they were both disappointing with 93 and 88. My rookies in Erasmus and Hewett scored better. At least their cash gen will keep going. Made a mistake bringing in Marshall for TDK a few weeks ago. Marshall did have Witts and Gawn last 2 weeks so see if he can improve from here. Way more other issues to solve.

Not much to do this week. Cleary goes for Pedlar. Thinking of taking O'Sullivan out for Clarke and going Ashcroft to prem mid. Obviously wait on teams. Hoping Hustwaite gets another run this week. Hawks not playing well so hope he gets another run
