I'm in a similar position.. Recon Dale is amazing value @ 477k..and Warner in the mids..

Yes Warner is still value next week though this is the week for him. Dale will be thereabouts end of season so is good buying.

Instead of the rookie down which I can do next week, I'm tempted to go TDK to Marshall for $100k this week, Marshall BE 31 so week for that also, just feels very sideways IF TDK can keep it up all season.

Jumping off Flynn is a decent idea. I think Gawn will drop in average, he won't stay near 130 all season and the 198 was an absolute monster score. I feel like Meek has given him some trouble in the past and with how bad the cash gen has been, I'd be more inclined to grab some bottomed out players instead. Merrett could be on the cusp this week (although Jordon tag) along with Warner.

Something I'd consider is Flynn and Bice for Warner and Zorko/Dale. It leaves the Boxshall downgrade up your sleeve for next week

Fair advice, having the premium ruck flex is very tempting and having Gawn a massive captain advantage.

But I guess it's

Prior to Boxshall, and Flynn to Gawn.

VS

Prior to Boxshall, and Kako to Warner.

Same kinda money in the bank and Flynn still there for the leap to Gawn at a possible discount around the byes..


That is if Flynn holds his spot.

The third prem is great for scoring, but I feel like you need to have a Ruc/Fwd to make the most of having the flex spot. You want to be able to swing players around and have excellent ruck coverage if needed.  I think having the extra positional flexibility through the byes could also be a way to capitalise on points.

Season was over a month ago but we play on.

Probably should have grabbed Gawn, with dual round 12 bye rucks was silly not to and now he is completely out of reach pre byes with a 95 BE. I could have got him this week but it's season over anyway so roll the dice to try finish with a somewhat respectable rank.

Bice down to El Hawli and Flynn to Serong in that vein. $243k left in the bank for something next week.

Scrap that. Going Flynn to Ryan and Daniel to Martin. Grab the low BE premiums and have $2000 left, pray for rookies to fatten to get the 3 mids + cerra up I need, then there is Gawn.

TDK is a bit of a problem this week. Same with the bench rookies in the midfield. It is a bit of chaos in what was supposed to be a fantastic rookie class. Other than a handful (and I picked most wrong), they have been really problematic with getting games and actually scoring. One of the best ones we almost missed out on with Brisbane playing games before making that late change.
