Colorado Avalanche 20.7.127 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 12.13.85
(Real: 1911 vs 1274)

So this was a blowout and a half. 5 120+ scores, including the C and VC, powered Colorado to a very healthy score, while Anaheim had scores of 17, 19, 25, 36, 40, and 43 to deal with, plus only the one player scoring over 100 - at least they got the captain pick correct?

Ottawa Otters 15.12.102 lost to Quito Quetzals 18.13.121
(Real: 1528 vs 1814)

Was always going to be an uphill battle for Ottawa, and when Prestia got skulled it became much harder, but luckily that wasn't the difference as Quito picked up a win and some handy percentage on the back of a trio of 130+ backs, more than making up for a century-less midfield (even Anaheim had a midfield ton!).

Boston Terriers 20.8.128 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 18.8.116
(Real: 1918 vs 1738)

Rigged comp, didn't Boston score 111 last week? Competition just isn't ready for a 2022 Grizzlies finals campaign smh. Hall and Laird 150s were always going to be hard to overcome, although the heroic good bloke Tom Stewart had one back the other way and was supported well down back by Saad, Baker, and Redman - shame Izak Rankine is my F1 by a country mile.

Carolina Panthers 17.12.114 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 20.7.127
(Real: 1717 vs 1903)

The power of naming a team! And the power of having Nankervis take 40 intercept marks! Nank wasn't a one-man band of course, as Lever, Libba, and LBrodie were fantastic as well, and having Jack Steele back was big. Carolina were let down by one of the Kelly gang, and a fair few below par scorers weren't able to be overcome by Bont and the other half of the Kelly gang.

Houston Bombers 15.15.105 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 18.14.122
(Real: 1577 vs 1833)

That's what happens when you take the CCs out of the hands of the Jacks - you get jack shower points! Wisconsin looked semi-vulnerable too with no tons between the last 7 names on the teamsheet and no Gawn to boot, but 5 tons through the mids salvaged a decent score and a comfortable victory.

Las Vegas Sinners 19.9.123 defeated Chicago Sharks 17.11.113
(Real: 1842 vs 1698)

Huge game with huge finals ramifications, and the Sinners pull it out - thanks in part to 3 of the last 5 Sharks players in the teamsheet scoring sub-45. Oliver was huge in carrying his team into competitiveness, but he just couldn't match a fantastic Sinner backline (134x1.5, 104x2, 148, 126) - it's almost like Sydney won this week??
