Quito Quetzals 18.12.120 defeated Colorado Avalanche 17.10.112
(Real: 1800 vs 1684)

Quito couldn't afford to lose this one...and they didn't, in spite of Ward's 5 and HGW, Rich and Vlastuin also scoring poorly - they were unlucky not to get a big chunk of % out of this one. Colorado weren't horrible at all, but with this loss they're probably out of finals conversation (still big improvers though of course).

Houston Bombers 18.11.119 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 18.12.120
(Real: 1792 vs 1806)

A thriller with massive finals implications! Jacob Weitering's early injury was 100% the difference, but props must be given to English, then Hewett, then Butters for getting the reigning premiers home to possibly establish themselves ahead of the big logjam in the bottom half of the 6, and keep them in touch with Wisconsin and Boston. Houston were squeezed out of the 6 last week and this loss will hurt them, but they'll most likely stay in 7th and still can win their way into the finals.

Ottawa Otters 17.10.112 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 19.12.126
(Real: 1675 vs 1887)

If I had to pick a scoreline to expect for this game, 112-126 would be just about bang on. Ottawa didn't disgrace themselves, and between Ginnivan, Shiels, McGovern, Richards and Riccardi (all scoring between 25 and 55) they left plenty of points on the table, as they fall to 5-6 and stay a step behind the race for finals. May's 15 being subbed off for Impey's 32 wasn't ideal for Wisconsin, but the rest of the side was pretty good.

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 15.13.103 lost to Carolina Panthers 18.8.122
(Real: 1551 vs 1823)

Anaheim had 9 scorers under 55, but still managed to put up a somewhat okay score - but they were no match for Carolina who stretch their distance on seventh place with a required victory, and some percentage to go along with it. Four 130+ scores will do that for you (usually), but Grundy back will help them big time for finals (?).

New Brooklyn Hawks 17.11.113 lost to San Francisco Grizzlies 19.7.121
(Real: 1697 vs 1820)

What a mid-season renaissance by the Grizzlies! Top score last week into one of the top handful this week, on the back of Stewart's huge 174 as captain, with Jed Anderson helping out as well. The Hawks were fine without being great, With this loss - like with Colorado - probably putting them out of finals contention. Their midfield was fantastic with 5 tons, including C and VC, but down back they didn't have a 70+ scorer, the four of them barely accounting for Stewart by himself.

Chicago Sharks 18.12.120 lost to Boston Terriers 19.12.126
(Real: 1801 vs 1893)

A big match with big finals implications, as the Terriers grind out an impressive win on the road to stay in touch with Wisconsin and ahead of the Vegas-Quito-Carolina pack. Chicago will stay in the 6, at sixth, but have a fight on their hands with Houston and apparently San Francisco for that last spot in the six.
