Round 7 is here and we have a standard suite of games from Friday night to Sunday,

We will still have a partial lock out as this year full lock out occurs at bounce of first Saturday game.
As a result Captains, Vice Captain and EVC as well as Eagles/Tigers players will be locked at bounce on Friday 8:10pm with full lockout at bounce of Cats/Dockers game 1:45pm Saturday,

Teams are to be lodged in this format in this thread:

Def: xxxx  xxxx  xxxx xxxx
Mid: xxxx  xxxx  xxxx xxxx
Ruck: xxxx
Fwds: xxxx  xxxx  xxxx xxxx
Util: xxxx xxxx (can be in any position)
Emergencies: xxxx  xxxx  xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxxx (name in priority order and post in UF)

Captain, Vice Captain and emergency vice captain to be specified,
Teams to be lodged in UF and this thread with Emergencies in order so Admin can make the required adjustments if necessary. Can you please keep UF updated with changes to lockout to assist Admin

Note when changing team lodgements use quote or create new post.

Draw for Rd 7 with First Named Teams having the Home Ground Advantage.

Oxford Lions v Huddersfield Hawks
5th v 10th Lions coming off a strong win where they had the highest score of the year. Will they have a let down or will they look to continue their recent form. Can the Hawks stop their charge, hawks have a reasonable defence but will really have to find something in attack to get over the Lions. Lions to win.
Swansea Breakers v Birmingham Dragons
12th v 15th - Close game expected her with 2 teams in the bottom half of the ladder, Breakers coming off a mauling by the Hurricane and Dragons a similar mauling by the rampant Lions. Which team can regroup the best will go a long way in deciding which team gets away with the win. Both teams have a similar attacking record but the Dragons really leak in defence and will need to tighten up if they are to get over the Breakers. Favour the Breakers slightly.  ;) ;)
Leeds Leeches v Staines Steins
11th v 2nd This should be an easy win for the Steins against the rudderless Leeches, Will be much closer though if the Leeches get coaching this week.
Blackpool Bunnies v Hastings Hurricanes
1st v 3rd - Undoubtedly match of the round, Can the Bunnies rise to inflict Hurricanes 1st defeat,  Bunnies may struggle though as they may have to use a makeshift ruckman to match Hurricanes Darcy. Hurricanes will be sweating on the availability of their star of last week Darcy Parish hoping he can come through.  With the absence of a recognised ruck favour the Hurricanes to chalk up 7 straight.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Wrexham Knights
9th v 4th - A must win game for the Knights if they are to keep pace with the Top 4. A virtual 8 point game here. A case of the best attacking team against the 2nd best defending team. Which team breaks first will no doubt get the chocolates. Can not see the Hedgehogs captain having 2 down games in a row so favour Hedgies slightly here.
Nottingham Hoods v Winchester Werewolves
7th v 16th Werewolves have really been ravished by injury especially to forwards and will be hoping to regain a few this week to avoid playing players out of position, Although the Wolves have been showing improvement can not see them overcoming the Hoods.
Manchester Magic v Liverpool Rams
8th v 13th - If Rams are to get over the Magic they will need to get a little more out of their attack as Magic have scored 1800 more points. Can they do this with more support around Captain Lyons not sure. Slightly favour Magic to win and retain place in the 8 but an upset would not surprise,
Bradford Badgers v Grope Lane Giants
6th v 14th - 14th v 6th - Hard to see anything but a Giants win. The Badgers may be able to exploit the Giants lack of ruck but they have the cattle to counter this miss. Giants to win.

let the banter begin.
