Round 3 - JMart sinks Washington

Springfield (1450) defeated by Arizona (1608)

An average day for the home team as Wines (111) and ROB (115) played a lone hand while Maynard (36) was better off suspended by the looks of it and a few passengers in the 40's will be sweating on their spots. Arizona posted a respectable total led by Josh Dunkley (132) who was back to his best though with Macrae (75), Miller (68) and Ziebell (49) all way down on their best there's an ominous amount of scoring power left untapped.

Bermuda (1587) defeated by Dallas (1713)

Dallas continue to impress this season, (no it's not rigged, yes this is biased) one of only two undefeated sides so far. Oliver (117) continues to post big totals while Tim English (138) looks ready to tear the fantasy game apart. Bermuda will be left ruing a shocking score by Sam Draper (28) while McDonald (44) also failed to impact the game much, and their top players couldn't push them over the line this time.

El Paso (1486) defeated by Calgary (1586)

The reigning premiers get on the board! Not a dominant display, but it was enough to get the job done. Only one centurion on deck for Calgary, their VC Tom Stewart (108), but a smattering of 80's and 90's gets them through. Meanwhile it's another loss for El Paso who copped some shockers from Mitch Lewis (31) and Ben Paton (33), though Tom Green (114) continues to be the shining light this season, and Blake Acres (110) was handy.

Hawaii (1725) defeat Guadalajara (1447)

Hawaii got their act together this week, crushing an uninspired Guadalajara outfit. Broad (108) is putting together a very good start to the year, and the midfield fired with the old firm and the young guns both getting in on the act. But it was the Lions' small forward duo of Cameron (108) and McCarthy (102) who really stepped up after the forward line cost Hawaii dearly last time. Not much to say for Guadalajara however, Haynes (34), Gunston (38) and Neal-Bullen (36) dropped the ball and the rest of the team couldn't pick up the slack.

Los Angeles (1756) defeat Washington (1569)

LA get away with one here, it could have easily gone very wrong with the coach not submitting a team, a midweek injury would have cooked them. LA post up another imposing total standing at the top with Dallas for both wins and scoring power. Docherty (138), Hewett (119) and Taranto (126) continue their hot form in another great team performance. Washington however, have copped some shocking luck. Replacing Liam Duggan and Willie Rioli are... Jack Scrimshaw (8) who got injured during the match, and Jack Martin who unfortunately for Washington was an activated sub who played about 5 minutes and posted a score of zero. They would have been hard pressed to snatch a win, but it was possible were it not for these two killer scores. 0-3 for Washington.
