I ended up going with a change of plans. I made all 4 trades to bring in Houston, Newcombe, Bramble and Edwards for McCreery, Waterman, Poulter and Byrnes.

It leaves me with 319k in the bank and 3 trades. Next week I will turn Nathan Murphy into a bargain basement rookie and finish off my midfield. I could have grabbed a Parish/Bont this week but both had really high BE's and I feel if I wanted to finish my team with trades to spare this was the best course of action. Funnily enough Duncan was someone I was considering as a POD in the midfield. Scrap that now
