2019/2020 Trade Period

Springfield trade: Stefan Martin, Andrew McGrath, Ben Keays + Archie Smith
Guadalajara trade: Michael Walters, Joel Selwood + N45

Comments: With Reilly O'Brien and Rowan Marshall to lead the ruck department, Stefan Martin was deemed excess to our needs. Joel Selwood adds further midfield depth, while Michael Walters is a top-line forward that is expected to boost the output of the XVIII.

Springfield trade: Jonathon Ceglar
Roswell trade: Tom McDonald

Comments: Another ruck that was excess to our needs, Ceglar moves in exchange for forward depth in Tom McDonald

Springfield trade: N22 + Ryley Stoddart
Las Vegas trade: Ed Curnow

Comments: Willing to move a young player and some draft currency in exchange for a potential starting midfielder while in the premiership window.

Calgary Trade: Shaun Higgins
Springfield Trade: Matt Suckling

Comments: Moving on Suckling before his time is up

Springfield trade: Eddie Betts + R22
Bermuda trade: Will Walker + N37

Comments: It's difficult to see any situation in which Eddie Betts would be needed in the XVIII, so he and a rookie pick move on for some draft currency

Springfield give: Brandan Parfitt + Liam Stocker
Bolivia give: Jack Billings + N48

Comments: Moving on two highly-rated youngsters in Parfitt & Stocker in exchange for another premium midfielder, Jack Billings

Guadalajara give: Paddy Dow + Harry Jones
Springfield give: Chris Masten + N37

Comments: Paddy Dow has failed to fire in his AFL career to date, but at this price, he's worth the punt

Springfield trade: Jack Newnes
Hawaii trade: Dayne Beams

Comments: Rolling the dice on the slim possibility that Dayne Beams returns to AFL level football

Springfield trade: N34 & Will Walker
Los Angeles trade: Shannon Hurn & R40
Bolivia trade: N36 & R48

Springfield receive: Shannon Hurn, R40 & R48
Los Angeles receive: N34 & N36
Bolivia receive: Will Walker

Comments: Shannon Hurn may not have much left in the tank, but he's a premium scorer when he's out there and is expected to add to the premiership tilt

El Paso trade: Ollie Wines
Springfield trade: Jason Johannisen & Jack Bytel

Comments: Adding a midfield bull to further strengthen the midfield, Wines still has his best years ahead of him

2020 Premiers: Springfield smash Arizona to claim the cup

In a relatively one-sided affair, the Springfield Isotopes defeated Arizona 1522 to 1271 to claim the 2020 premiership. Captain Tom Rockliff led from the front with a trademark ton and was joined by his deputy Reilly O'Brien, who went one-better with a 112. Offseason acquisitions Shannon Hurn (90) and Ed Curnow (80) were key to the win, while Ollie Wines and Jack Billings also taste premiership glory in their first season with their new club.

2020/2021 Trade Period

El Paso trade Callum Ah Chee
Springfield trade Tom McDonald

Comments: Callum Ah Chee showed quite a bit in his 2020 campaign, and the need for a defender outweighs the forward depth McDonald provides

2021/2022 Trade Period

Guadalajara give: Andrew McGrath
Springfield give: Jack Graham

Comments: Andrew McGrath returns to the club that drafted him after a short stint with Guadalajara, poised to return to his best footy

Bermuda give: Hayden McLean
Springfield give: Rookie #39

Comments: With Rookie #39 unlikely to be used, Hayden McLean was added as a depth forward option with some upside
