Teams to be lodged in UF and this thread with Emergencies in order so Admin can make the required adjustments if necessary as per this rule so you can see the importance of order: Note if Teams not lodged in this thread then UF order used which means first emergency is your defender.

When lodging teams please do not edit teams post in a new or quoted post.

Rd 5 Draw: (First named team has the HGA)
Nottingham Hoods v Oxford Lions
1st v 3rd No doubt the match of the Round with both teams undefeated. Lions have been the surprise packet this year but will face a real test against the Hoods.  The midfield clash will be worth seeing and the team that gets on top here may come out on top. Wines v Macrae shapes as the key.  Real toss of the coin this one but maybe Hoods with HGA.
Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs v Manchester Magic
16th v 11th  Hedgies will be chaffing at the bit to get of the bottom of the table. Magic will be wanting the win to stay in touch with the Top 8. Will the love of Gulden be the difference.  Close game but think the Magic may get home.
Bradford Badgers v Blackpool Bunnies
14th v 8th - Badgers will be sweating on Daniel getting off at the tribunal due to their injury crisis and with no fit rucks. Bunnies will want a win to stay in the 8.  Should Daniel get off may tip Badgers with the HGA but if nor a Bunnies win. Each way bet.
Grope Lane Giants v Leeds Leeches
6th v 2nd This is another contender for match of the round. New coach has Giants firing and this will be a real test for them against the Leeds who have come out of the blocks quickly with big scores.  Giants will be hurt with the injury to Taylor Adams and this may tilt the scales towards Leeches, Leeches to get home here,
Liverpool Rams v Swansea Breakers
10th v 14th - Rams had first win and come up against the Breakers who are seeking their first win.  Based on predictions will be a close game but think Rams will get home with the HGA.
Winchester Werewolves v Huddersfield Hawks
12th v 13th  Another contender for match of the round with very little separating both teams and only .4% Percentage. Winner will keep touch with Top 8 and loser will probably drop out. So expecting a real struggle here although Hawks have a few injury issues. With Hawks injuries and Wolves having the HGA tipping Wolves.
Wrexham Knights v Birmingham Dragons
7th v 9th Yet another contender for match of the round. Both teams have 2 wins and are separated by 1.6% points.  Dragons were hit hard with injuries to Hurn and Lemmens last week and the question is have they the depth to replace them?  On the other hand Knights no doubt will welcome back Dangerfield. The big question for Knights is will they relieve Dustin Martin of the captaincy in an endeavour to have him retain form.  As a result of the Dragons injury issues Knights are favoured her.
Hastings Hurricanes v Staines Steins
4th v 5th - Another close match expected here with both teams having 3 wins and only separated by .4% points.  If the Hurricanes can contain the twin rucks Gawn and Grundy of the Steins they will go a long way to winning this all important clash,  A lot riding on this clash as winner may find themselves in the Top 4. Big ask for Darcy to compete against the twin rucks but if he can draw even then I think Hurricanes can inflict Steins second defeat,

As can be seen a lot of matches are against teams close on the ladder so nearly all are 8 point games.

Best of luck all and let the banter begin.
