Harry McKay comes in as a reward for 2 BOG performances in a row in the reserves, with the blind faith that he might have turned that consistency corner in 2021. Captain James returns after suffering a knee knock in the opening round, while Jack Silvagni also slots straight back in after his very impressive opening half against the Samurai.

Apologies for no previews, weekly PM or... score updates this week :-X

Combination of work/holiday travel has and will prevent all of that this week.

All I know is that "Sticks" where meant to be "Spears" if it weren't for my brain freeze Monday night, and that Tex Walker has the sharpest one.

I tip Seoul, and Buenos Aires v PNL is my MOTR!

Consistent Magpies overpower Sputtering Jags

Despite having twice the number of tons, Rio were crippled by several sub 50 scores which hamstrung their chances against Seoul, whom if not for the Lachie Fogarty, would have had a mighty average week.

Seoul Magpies (21.10.136) def Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (18.11.119)

Best
Seoul: Jack Steele, Lachlan Fogarty
Rio de Janeiro: Changkuoth Jiath, Daniel Rich, Jack Viney, Tim Taranto

Sticks speared through Samurai Armour

I thought Tokyo were a genuine chance for this one! And I maintain that, despite the scoreline. The Islanders are just too consistent, whom have now seemingly solved their forward line concern with a revived Tex!

Pacific Islanders (24.7.151) def Tokyo Samurai (21.8.134)

Best
Pacific: Andrew Gaff, Jarryd Lyons, Taylor Walker
Tokyo: Jarman Impey, Jordan Ridley, Josh Dunkley
