Colorado Avalanche 15.15.105 lost to Wisconsin Cockerels 18.9.117
(Best: 1578 vs 1748) (I added them up myself dw)

Gawn and Macrae twin 137s against Colorado, did you really have to do it to them? Touk Miller also chipped in with a solid 131, lucky them didn't rest him...but Parish and Moore failed to fire and Morrison was about average, so are Wisconsin going to start to rue that deadline trade? Nah, Duggan scored 65. Though Wisconsin would want a lot more from the support players in their XVIII if they hope to back up their 2020 performance, but they did enough to get over Colorado, who again showed plenty of promise but just fell short in some areas, such as not naming Braden Campbell (I guess he just looks so showerhouse compared to Errol), while Bytel being the 23rd man and making an appearance cost them dearly.

Best
Colorado: Cerra, Witts, Smith, Walsh
Wisconsin: Macrae, Gawn, Miller, Gresham

Carolina Panthers 20.13.133 defeated Las Vegas Sinners 19.7.121
(Real: 1991 vs 1812)

Pretty poor effort by Las Vegas and Stig to not back up their debut 2000 with another one and a tight W, but I guess they did okay...just Carolina on another level as we all know they can do quite easily between Bont, Grundy, Dusty and the Kelly's. Reading down Vegas' teamsheet it looks like they have it in them, with Gulden highlighting a gun midfield, but only one of their last 7 players listed in their XVIII (forwards and utilities) managed to break 70, that being the highest score of any player this round (Butters 163). But it may be a testament to how strong Vegas are, with those forwards and utilities not to fire including round one guns (Stephenson and Allen), a few young stars (English, Day, and Blakey), and a guy who was once the future GOAT (Jaeger), so I'd be confident they can ride the Errol train towards a championship tilt...but they might just meet Carolina again when they get there.

Best
Carolina: Bontempelli, Grundy, Howard, Martin, Short, Ryan
Las Vegas: Butters, Gulden, Naitanui, Lloyd, Moore, Mitchell, Lyons

San Francisco Grizzlies 16.10.106 lost to Quito Quetzals 18.9.117
(Real: 1583 vs 1759)

what a nice looking man, i'm sure he wouldn't score less than 1 35SC in a full game

Best
San Francisco: Anderson, Adams
Quito: Houston, Dunkley, Lycett, Rich, Lukosius

Boston Terriers 18.12.120 defeated Houston Bombers 16.11.107
(Real: 1801 vs 1602)

Pretty much the exact match projection tbh, Boston score fine and coast to a reasonably comfortable win over an average scoring Houston, who should've done the dodgy to not have Saad as a CC as shown in WXV this week (nobody tell said WXV coach I've semi-roasted them twice in one round's review pls). Tex continued his breakout season (because we all know his career until 2021 has been showerhouse), while fellow semi-cooked old folk Selwood was right behind him. Idk what else to say, this match kinda boring ngl.

Best
Boston: Walker, Selwood, Salem, Laird, Pendlebury
Houston: Crisp, Ellis, Heeney

Chicago Sharks 20.9.129 defeated Ottawa Otters 14.8.92
(Real: 1935 vs 1384)

This looks ugly, but just imagine how ugly it could've been had Chicago managed any tons from the last 10 players on their teamsheet (including sub). Regardless, the first 9 blokes listed featured 7 tons (the other scores being 92 and 75), with the C having top score and VC second, and I think it's time to use this image for the first time for 2021, but certainly not the last...

Best
Chicago: Oliver, Brayshaw, Guthrie, Hurn, Bowes, Barrass, Parker
Ottawa: Dixon

New Brooklyn Hawks 15.15.105 lost to Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.13.115
(Real: 1571 vs 1727)

How much longer can Boak, Mundy and Porkins do it for Anaheim? Forever possibly, as they cruise to the win over NBH despite their much publicised string of potato scores - put the two teams together and you have quite the sack of potatoes, just with Anaheim stabilising thanks to the above trio, plus Ridley, scoring 130+ while NBH didn't have the firepower to match it (at least Parish, Morrison and Moore were no better).

Best
Brooklyn: Steele, Anderson, Liberatore
Anaheim: Boak, Ridley, Hawkins, Mundy, Switkowski
