Everybody's favourite knockout competition is back!

A simple game...

The lowest scoring team is eliminated each week, until we have a winner!

You can get immunity from elimination if you had the highest score the week before (up until round 10) - in which case the 2nd lowest scoring team is eliminated.

So, who has what it takes to be World Idol?

Wow!

When I mentioned in my review that Steele prevented Seoul's World Idol elimination... I just assumed 1268 would have been enough! It's unheard of to be eliminated in Round 4 with a score so close to 1300!

For context, in 2019, there were only 4 rounds where a team scored more than 1268 and got eliminated!

Similarly, in 2020 (with simultaneous rounds), only 8 eliminated teams scored higher than 1268.

So to get eliminated in Round 4, the reigning 2019 and 2020 World Idol champions no less, is pretty damn unlucky!

They performed alright in World Idol, but Buenos Aires (1227) could hold out no longer, despite De Goey's efforts *work with me*

Jimbo Liam Jones coach-killing performance was also it's Idol eliminating performance. In Round 9, we say 'do svidaniya' to Moscow (1236)

It is getting tight now, the second lowest score this week from the remaining teams was Toronto's 1328!

As the only remaining team to score below 1300, New York (1255) , with no backsies this time.
