Just keen to get a thread discussing what we are looking like going in to 2023.

Starting with the upcoming trade period.

Im a bit worried about Davey Jnr, but as discussed it still appears like he will still be nominating Essendon. Is it contingent on Essendon selecting his twin brother?
Why is he holding out?

If Wardlaw doesn't get through to pick 5, it looks like Dadoro is more interested in Matteas Phillipou than Tsatas. I actually like what I see in Phillipou, and actually made this call months ago in regards to who I would prefer if we couldn't get Wardlaw. Tsatas is still a gun, but I'd be worried about his steeliness given his apprehension to leave the state.

Dream draft

Wardlaw
Alwyn Davey Jnr
Jayden Davey
Anthony Munkara

But I don't see us having the picks for all of them.

Probable Draft

Phillipou
Davey twins
later picks for coverage.

Starting 22

FB: Ridley, BZT, Laverde
HB:Redman  Stuz  McGrath
C: Martin Zerrett Heppell
HF: Langford Weideman Perkins
F: Stringer 2MP Jones
Foll: Draper Parish Shiel

int: Cox, Setterfield, Caldwell, Hobbs

emerg: Snelling, Bryan, Reid, Durham, Hind, Geulfi

Cox and Reid could be our twin towers down back eventually. Their skills are amazing, they just need size. Our defence looked so much better when Ridley could peel off and be the marking 3rd interceptor.

I actually only kept Heppell in the side from nostalgia, I honestly don't see him being there for long given the selection squeeze.

Guelfi will probably make it in to the side from sheer guelfiness. He just gets the job done week in week out.

What are peoples thoughts? Will we get Walla back? Is it too much having 3 talls in attack. Do we not have enough pressure in our fwd line.

Let the talks begin

Every chance of improvement, just worried about the depth
