With Melbourne v Essendon being 'postponed' tomorrow, it brings us an unprecedented situation with Supercoach.

Everybody will have at least 1 player from either team (6 for me)

A repost from me because I "reckon the season is done, perhaps not for all the fanatsy stuff but certainly for equity in the league and the results, the afl adminstrators from ceo down ( those that still have a job) are just looking out for $$$$$
This is a year just to forget, or perhaps remember, good and bad, on how people have managed themselves"

Furthermore I am "just really depressed on the overall attitude of the afl management towards the current covid situation ... selfish, privileged and alot of other big words do not go go close to the way I see the ceo putting his "case" for the sport

I love my football and i know navigating the situation is difficult (doing it for my business and staff is difficult), but geeez ... get in the real world, sad eyes and all does not do it for me Gillon.

See you all on the other side!

A brief interlude and reality strikes again.   I will continue to participate and support the SC community and look forward to society getting to the end of this pandemic in the best way possible.   A difficult time as RR has highlighted.  RR, I hope you, your family, business and staff get through it with minimal possible impacts.

Personally the lockdown helped my daughter and I reconcile and I am grateful for that.   On the other hand my wife is in full time care and I am health compromised and we have had to change our lives dramatically   I go out once a week to shop and have only socialised with my sister, brother and 1 friend since March.   I do not see myself returning to work in a office environment over the next 18 months.   Society has to open up and health compromised people will need to adjust our way of life to risk minimisation.     Getting back on FanFooty and SC was helping though it was always unlikely the season could continue without further impact.

Stay safe everyone.

Stay safe Crowls you must look after yourself and pleased for you with your daughter.  A bit luckier in Qld as even though initially took precautions due to being Diabetic have started to go out now a bit now even having a few days up the coast.

Was lucky enough to go to the Gabba last night.

So yes will enjoy football and fantasy while it is played but will have no objections if it needs to again be suspended or cancelled as peoples health is more important.

As you say stay safe and observe the Covid precautions in your state.

Glad you got to the ground.  Looks like Lions fans had a great night.   Was good to see fans at the game.

5 of my kids live in Queensland and all of them were back in the gym last week and are pleased to be going out again.    After my wife passes away I am looking at relocating to SE Qld as had enough of Victorian winters and want to be closer to my kids and grandkids.   Figure I can get a cheap lobotomy and some white shoes and I will fit in fine.
