Mature age, cheap, Essendon saw something they liked. Not a great team, so chance of a crack. As far as rookie priced players, a lock if he was named rd1

Now a nice down grade option when called up.

Watch and wait on Gawn been very durable over recent years but could be the way to free up some cash.

Ollie Wines placed on Ports LTI list for any considering him.
To add, was already confirmed to be missing the first few rounds of the season. Being on the LTI just means he's unavailable for selection for 6 weeks from now, which is around Round 1 anyways I believe.
