Belgium Bashers (22.11.143) lost to Russian Roulettes (23.10.148)

ohh geez, could the curse be back? Belgium forward line completely fell apart with Cameron a late out, Danger putting up a stinker, JJK a spud. Lucky they have the double chance as Russia killed them. The Russian attack really fired and even with a low score from Zorko it was never in doubt.

Spanish Stallions (22.10.142) def Swiss Storm (22.9.141)

what an amazing game, Macrae just carried Spain home with the crowd huge. D4 no ruck and parish almost cost them. Speaking of cost them Conor Rozee must be feeling livid, after an amazing rookie season he was dropped for McLean and that  was the difference maker.

Svalbard Valkyries (23.9.147) lost to Macedonian Wolves (24.6.150)

This might have been an elimination final but it was easily the best showing this week. Valks where gallant with nearly everyone turning up but the Wolves where just too good. The crouch bros lead a very good mid and Newman was amazing rebounding off the hbf.

Belarus Bison  (23.7.145) def Iceland Polar Bears (18.11.119)

Grundy Treloar turned up big time but they also had some nice support. The coach would have been very pleases with Gibbs effort after a shocking season. Iceland just didnt turn up and really looked out of place in the finals.

Next week

Russia and Spain have the bye

we will see

Belgium v Belarus - surely Belgium cant go out in straight sets, if their fwd line doesn't turn up its a real possibility. Trendy (Treloar/Grundy) could carry Belarus to a huge  upset victory.

Storm v Macedonia - This will be a great game between two very solid teams who you can rely on turning up week in week out.

We lost, but I don't think you got our score correct.

LaHug

It's a shame it's Collingwood vs. Melbourne this week as it's one of the few matchups Grundy can't walk into a huge score.

I just assumed Witherden was out injured this week without checking - so lucky it didn't cost me the game!
