First Semi-Final
Anaheim Mighty Ducks 16.12.108 lost to Boston Terriers 18.12.120

(Real: 1614 vs 1805)

Anaheim depart in straight sets while Boston will get a chance to prove their worths and try to make the grand final from sixth spot. Looking at how they've performed through the season, Anaheim were very lucky to get to second spot and it's fair to see them lose considerably to Wisconsin and Boston, but to win 12 games in a season is always an admirable effort. A classic 160 by Danger could have seen Anaheim home, but his 57 was a big dagger to the Ducks' efforts, while Boston's captain, Neale - although below his best, was adequate in securing the victory.

Best
Anaheim: Merrett, Gray, Mumford, Boak, Burgoyne
Boston: Laird, Sidebottom, Goldstein, Pendlebury, Neale, Langdon

Second Semi Final
Wisconsin Cockerels 19.9.123 lost to Quito Quetzals 20.11.131

(Real: 1846 vs 1965)

As good as Quito have been tracking recently, this is a huge huge upset by the Quetzals! They're going to the grand final!!! Wisconsin still scored pretty solid, but just too many passengers (Saad 48, JJK 36, Zorko 62, Duncan 77) and a rare lack of 120+ scores in the midfield (I think just the one might be their lowest all year), but Gawn was great as captain and Macrae even better as vice-captain, just to fall short semi-comfortably. Quito had two extra centurions and a lack of passengers (ROB and McCluggage 72s probably the most disappointing - they didn't even use their sub), lead by young star Worpel and old star Higgins, while the Toby Greene trade may just be the thing that leads them to the flag - but there will certainly one big hurdle in their race for the premiership, and I think Wisconsin will be out for blood the next two weeks.

Best
Wisconsin: Macrae, Gawn, Cameron, Whitfield, Billings
Quito: Worpel, Higgins, Greene, Haynes, Dunkley, Vlastuin, Ross
