I've got Zerrett storming up the charts, I'm not saying he's going to win, but if you play it smart you might be able to get a decent cashout or use a bonus bet on him.  Can get him anywhere between $51-$81.

Anyone get on?  Odds have come in fairly significantly in a few days.  I got bet365 @ $61 and now it's $46 and on Neds at $81 and it's now $51.
Yeah I jumped on at $61 on Bet365.

Nice one, hopefully a big game against the Sun's this week so we're looking at a nice cash out.

The problem will be (like you mentioned about Boak) is that he doesn't get enough media attention as a Brownlow contender to help with his price. For example I've seen a number of "predicted counts" that still have Boak in or near the Top 5, yet his price doesn't reflect that.

The bookies do catch on though to some extent, but yeah, being so open this year it's harder, need a few BOG's to help out.  I've cashed out my Tim Kelly bet cos in reality I can't see him winning, made $100 profit which I was happy to reinvest into Zerrett.  I fell Kelly might be that guy this season who is hyped, but has not history of polling well like Robbie Gray and Goldy a few years back.  In saying that I do have him polling well and it's not uncommon for a 2nd or 3rd best player on a top team wins the medal like Simon Black and Acker on the Lions when Voss was the #1 stud.

Shame that there aren't more guys here doing their counts like in the past, good to get an idea on votes.

RaisyDaisy

TK polled 13 votes in his debut season

I wouldn't be worried about him not polling

I got on Fyfe at $7 a few weeks ago when he missed that game through injury.

Hopefully a couple more 3 vote games to finish off the year!

Yep, I got him at $6.50 still before this round.  Not sure if I should cash out my Neale bet...still 2 round to go, but up against Geelong and Tigers.  Cash out is round $350, win would be 2K.  ???

I read somewhere during the week that gives Neale no chance of winning, but that was just 1 person's opinion. The good thing about playing Geelong and Richmond is that he probably won't get tagged either week ???

I just read that too, it was that Wolf tipster for Beteasy.  If Neale gets 2 BOG's then he can win, Wolf doesn't have Neale ranked in his top 5, most people I have seen have him top 2.  Danger is a bit of a Danger, pardon the pun.

The fact that the past 10 or so winners have come from the top 3 players in contested possessions leads me to believe it will be Fyfe or Neale who wins.

CP's

1. Oliver (319) - Dees have been beyond garbage, no chance
2. Fyfe (315) - broke into the top 3 this week and has put Freo on his back, out of the finals race though so will see what happens
3. Cunnington (313) - workhorse, but doesn't stand out enough
4. Neale (313) - as good a chance as any to win, needs to come home strong
5. Cripps (304) - Has had some quiet patches and can't handle a tag, plus Blues
6. Boak (279) - too far behind and Port too up and down, doesn't stand out as much as Cripps and Fyfe for lower end teams

Nothing for Fyfe this weekend, Dusty adds another 3 and takes a 1 vote lead in my count.
