Under 30 hours to go, maybe it's to time to start planning

Those locked barring a late injury:

Defence: Lloyd, Whitfield, Williams, Smith
Midfield: Macrae, Treloar, M.Crouch, Zerrett, Rockliff, B.Crouch, Walsh
Rucks:
Forwards: Dangerfield, Billings, Setterfield

No idea on the rucks. Might roll with 2 of Lycett, Clarke and English just to try and see how things go early on haha

This section is a dead part of the forums but I thought I'd give a run down of my team so far this season.

First half season awards:
Star Pick: Tom Rockliff
Most Consistent: Jake Lloyd
Biggest failure: Sean Darcy (Traded before Rd 3)
Worst trade out: Zac Merrett (Traded before Round 2)
Best trade in: Reilly O'Brien (Traded in before Round 5)
Best player not owned: Travis Boak

So as can be seen by team, I have taken a very value based approach to my season. All started after Round 1 where I made a structure change and removed Zac Merrett for Christian Salem at $605k. From then I made a ploy to just keep chasing the value, and try to get those pesky rookies off my field as quickly as possible. Round 3 I fixed my Sean Darcy failure and got Gawn in, and also chased James Worpel's value for the then-terrible Josh Dunkley.

The next two weeks were purely rookie corrections, and two of those in the rucks where I traded both Zac Clarke and Reilly O'Brien in in consecutive weeks. Michael Walters, Bachar Houli, Dylan Shiel, Josh Kelly and Brandon Ellis have been the upgrades in each of the last 5 weeks, 4 of those value picks at the time (Shiel has flopped considering it was either him, Merrett or Taranto that week!)

And now we sit here, with $150k in the bank and hopefully a return for Dangerfield and Crouch this week. If Shiel and Rockliff are declared fit, then it's an upgrade of Sam Walsh (perhaps his current position in my midfield indicates that this won't be a value pick and in fact a big boy coming in). If Shiel and/or Rocky are going to miss then I will have to start thinking about a sideways from either of them.

I also have the great ability to bank $110k one week whenever I feel like with Zac Clarke, and what will likely be a huge $400k from ROB when I decide to make that move. Both those will really help with getting those remaining rookies off the field.

Regarding the byes I put a little bit of effort into it, but I would be fine with making one sideways if I needed to each week of the byes to get me through, especially as I do own a few guys who are not the top of the range in their line (i.e Billings, Salem, Worpel).

That's where I stand right now, hopefully the column with all the green in it can continue to stay green moving forward.
