pfft he's just as much of a crab as Newnes

You're right. I thought those comments would spur him on to have a decent game but he'll probably give away a couple of 50m penalties and/or May will punch his lights out in the third quarter.

Robertson OUT, Clarke back to D4 and Duman back to E2.

Adamant

Forgot Essendon were playing tonight.

Melksham E1
Duman E2
Robertson E3

Apologies for the flower around Purps.

New Delhi Tigers

DEF Lloyd (C), Houli, Rich, Morrison
MID Hannebery, Sidebottom, Steven, Ziebell
RUCK SMartin (VC)
FWD Menegola, Gray, Darling, Langdon
UTIL SSelwood, Sier

EMER: Newnes, McInerny, Knight
Murray out apparently so Morrison into D4

Toga

Well, not an ideal start from Beijing with our fill-ins Rioli & Guelfi combining for just over 100 points.

On the bright side there was no 200-point Mr Brightside this week and Rance was quietish :-X

Purple 77

After Ess/Rich

Bellcho gets Toronto off to a great start, whilst New Delhi will begrudgingly take an 88 from Houli.

Caddy was great for the 'Jing, Ellis was par, put Rioli and particulary Guelfi were just bad. Guelfi score just, really, really hurts. Whilst Dusty atoned for his poor captains performance last week with... a captains performance, giving Dublin a lead by 3 with one less extra played  :-X

Was always going to be the way, Rioli & Guelfi clearly our weakest players. Grundy & a couple of jets later hopefully we'll be in the mix

After Saturday

Fark, Toronto look ominous. 7 out of their 9 players have tonned up, and their C & VC haven't even played. The Tigers will put up a decent score - and an admirable one at that - but Toronto are just at another level. Toronto will win.

This is the interesting game! Funnily enough, Beijing are all done! Thanks to a top notch score from Captain Grundy, Beijing - with HGA included - have put up a tremendously worthy 1509 points. Which means Dublin's remaining 6 players - including both of their CCs - have to 519 points to win. It's VERY doable, but not a sure thing either. That forward line went crazy - showing why they made up half of the All-Worlds Forward line squad. But WATCH THIS SPACE! This could be a thriller!

Gee, if Beijing played Mason Cox over Guelfi, they'd have an extra 61 points  :-X

Jing confirmed not telescopic or telepathic.

Toga

A reasonable score but not quite enough I don't think. Would need a real stinker from one of Dublin's CCs to get us back in the game.

This was a lineball call as well, played the averages and picked Guelf :( Those points would've been handy!

Toronto is scary. 170+ comin up.

Destroyer Cannons deafen Thunder Claps

Not even Brodie Grundy's second Finals Champion Medal in a row as Captain could stop the Dublin machine. What an amazingly well timed year! The stars are firing and look well placed to compete for a 3rd WXV premiership.

The interesting part? The Destroyers would have outscored the Wovles by 5 SC points (without HGA).

Commiserations to the 'Jing; it was an absolute pleasure watching you have your finest ever season, and I think you'd have found nearly everyone cheering on for you as a testament to your sportsmanship. But for now... it's all about Toronto v Dublin, the final we were destined to have!
