#5
1st Semi Final: Las Vegas Sinners vs Anaheim Mighty Ducks

Las Vegas Sinners 20.5.125 defeated Anaheim Mighty Ducks 18.10.118
(Real: 1869 vs 1766)

Big win by the Sinners, as they show what they're made of despite a fair few poor scores (four starting midfielders sub-55 and a 32 as a utility) - depth might be their Achilles heel but firepower sure isn't, with captain Mitchell hammering the Ducks with a 153 and Buddy had a huge 178. Anaheim did the best they could with with their leadership options, with Dangerfield their best but he couldn't do enough, as Greene's 18 hurt them badly as the rest of their XVIII did pretty good (they scored 118 on the road so can't have gone too badly at all). Both subs scored 100+ which is elite as well. Sinners definitely could win the premiership if their stars fire the next two weeks!

Best
Las Vegas: Franklin, Mitchell, Walker, Lloyd, Petracca, Sheppard, Garlett
Anaheim: Dangerfield, Merrett, Mundy, McVeigh

Las Vegas advance to the Preliminary Final.
Anaheim Mighty Ducks will pick 9th in the draft.
Finals Champion: Lance Franklin (Las Vegas)

2nd Semi Final: Wisconsin Cockerels vs Houston Bombers

Wisconsin Cockerels 20.7.127 defeated Houston Bombers 18.9.117
(Real: 1904 vs 1750)

Ten-point loss on the road for the Bombers, but definitely nothing to hold their heads down about. If Beams (85) had a Mitchell or Dangerfield-like captain score it would've been a lot closer. Couple of 140s in the midfield and two co-captains going 110+ was enough for the Cockerels, and the form of Billings (110) and Crozier (99) would definitely be pleasing for the coach. A better captain score and some high outlier scores (their highest score was only 120 - the opposite of when these teams met mid-season when the Bombers had about 7 players above that!) and the Bombers are definitely in flag contention - but they'll have to win in Las Vegas next week first! As for the subs...only 45 and 67 in this match. Piss poor! (Says the guy who had a sub average of about 50 this season).

Best
Wisconsin: Zorko, Whitfield, Macrae, Gawn, Billings, Rampe, Duncan, O'Meara, Crozier
Houston: Robinson, Lambert, Sloane, Ziebell, Crisp, Murphy

Wisconsin Cockerels advance to the Grand Final.
Houston Bombers advance to the Preliminary Final.
Finals Champion: Dayne Zorko (Wisconsin)

One more thing...Carolina unlucky not to be here this week. Would've torched their opposition with Kelly 205 (possibly as captain), Grundy 167, Ward 151, Menegola 144, Kelly 112, Martin 111...Would've been 2000+ for sure.
