Since Koop is essentially resigned from his post as Colorado coach, I'll both start naming his side impartially and be on the lookout for a replacement. I know it's about 20 hours late but I won't look at any of last night's scores to do this. It'll be a pretty similar side to what Koop last named just with emergencies that actually play and without any guys who are out injured (who I replace anyway through the team list).

#21
Las Vegas Sinners 19.6.120 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 17.12.114
(Real: 1802 vs 1707)

Very impressive win by the Sinners, who did what they've struggled to do all season - win without Mitchell and/or Fyfe firing. Mitchell as captain could only manage 79 and Fyfe did not play, but they had plenty of great contributors - particular sub Petracca's 138. NBH weren't bad at all, as they didn't have big results from captain or vice-captain and they had three scores under 50, but not good enough to get the win here.

Best
Las Vegas: Lloyd, Petracca, Rockliff, De Goey, Naitanui
Brooklyn: Johannisen, Gunston, Doedee, Nankervis, Crouch

Chicago Sharks 19.7.125 defeated Carolina Panthers 17.13.115
(Real: 1874 vs 1720)

Chicago were magnificent as they put up a big score on the back of captain Oliver's 154 and a quintuple of eagles-related players in Gaff (123 - plays for them), Yeo (142 - plays for them), Sinclair (122 - used to play for them), Hurn (102 - plays for them), and Kennedy (103 - bizarro version with the same name plays for them). Carolina were pretty poor, carried to a serviceable score by captain Grundy scoring 155; they had 10 scores under 75 and only one of their midfielders (Selwood) well and truly fired.

Best
Chicago: Oliver, Yeo, Gaff, Sinclair, Kennedy, McDonald, Hurn, Salem
Carolina: Grundy, Selwood, Roughead, Martin

Ottawa Otters 17.9.111 lost to Boston Terriers 19.7.121
(Real: 1665 vs 1817)

Reasonably lucky win for Boston, as they took off today with Pendlebury (161), Redden (154), Goldstein (133), and Sidebottom (116) scoring well but it was looking semi-bleak up until that point. Ottawa's co-captains failed to fire but the rest of the team did pretty well, especially Big Boy McEvoy who will be sorely missed in the coming week/s as he deals with a fractured cheekbone (RIP).

Best
Ottawa: McEvoy, Cutler, Taranto, Grigg, Prestia
Boston: Pendlebury, Redden, Goldstein, Selwood, Sidebottom, Thomas, Gray, Wingard

Colorado Avalanche 17.6.108 lost to Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.9.111
(Real: 1616 vs 1659)

Ooh now this was a close one - would've resulted in quite a situation if my Colorado side managed to get the win here but they just fell short - this side was really pretty close to what the former Colorado side I had been using was so it wouldn't have been a massive difference, they legitimately had a reasonable week but not enough to beat Merrett, Smith and company who were massively let down by a few (Hannebery, Lewis, Robertson, McKenna, Hardwick) players.

Best
Colorado: Witts, Tarrant, Smith
Anaheim: Merrett, Smith, Hodge, Armitage, Dangerfield, Bellchambers, Mundy, Hurley

Houston Bombers 17.13.115 defeated Quito Quetzals 17.10.112
(Real: 1730 vs 1673)

Another very close game, with the home side Houston getting over the in-form Quetzals thanks to a huge 148 as captain from Beams (why can I never get these captain scores?), although Hoskin-Elliott and Phillips combining for 40 points and not having a sub after Howe was called for Simpson in almost blew it. Quito leant heavily on another huge Breust performance (four tons in a row for a 132 average - captaincy calling?) and a good Higgins score as captain but couldn't get the job done.

Best
Houston: Beams, Howe, Hill, Edwards, Walters
Quito: Breust, Rich, Higgins

Wisconsin Cockerels 20.9.129 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 18.10.118
(Real: 1931 vs 1775)

Another game, another massive/outlier captain score in Gawn's 151. If only I knew to put Scott Thompson captain...oh well. 6 scores under 65 hurt, as our depth is tested by Williams+Deledio+Scully being out (damn GWS medicos aren't doing a very good job). Aforementioned Gawn a clear BOG but Zorko, Duncan, Whitfield, Shuey and O'Meara did it for the Cockerels midfield while Hawkins, Jenkins, Anderson and McKernan did it for the Grizzlies forward line.

Best
Wisconsin: Gawn, Zorko, Duncan, Whitfield, Miller, Crozier, Shuey, Fritsch, O'Meara
San Francisco: Thompson, Hawkins, Jenkins, Martin, Hunter, Viney, McKernan
