2021 Awards

Rookie of the Year:

The Rookie of the Year award is awarded by the coach to who they deem to have had the biggest impact out of the players drafted during the previous year's national and rookie drafts. Additionally, anyone who is eligible for the NAB AFL Rising Star Award as well as any other player who has played less than 10 games prior to the current season is also eligible for this award, regardless of when they were drafted.

The Winner of the Rookie of the Year Award for Oxford in 2021 is Jack Payne! Congrats Jack!

SL says: "In what was admittedly a small pool to choose from this year, Payne was the standout candidate for this award. Payne gradually improved as the year went on, averaging a tick under 100 points in UF and getting incredibly close to earning a call-up in the finals for Oxford. He showed plenty of promise this year and it will be great to watch his development in the years to come."
