Caleb is F/M, so he'd move to the fwds to cover Curnow and Saad would move into Caleb's spot since he is your first listed emg.

Cheers  :)

I wasn't too bothered either way (all three emergencies have scored well)

Midfield: Patrick Dangerfield (C) 114 x 2 (228) Zach Merrett (EVC) 118, Dyson Heppell 113, Nathan Jones 116, Jordan Lewis 69, Shaun Burgoyne 69

Emergencies: Paul Puopolo (subbed on for Clarke) 40, Nick Robertson (Defence) 61, David Armitage (Midfield) 18, Matt Guelfi (Forward) 61

If that's all right then I believe it totals to 1,692.

Wisconsin Cockerels 20.13.133 defeated Colorado Avalanche 14.11.95
(Real: 1997 vs 1425)

Pretty evident what went on here, need I elaborate? Not going to lose too many games with a 177 as your VC (just the lowly 121 from the C), but for their sakes hopefully Macrae isn't peaking about three months too early. As for Colorado, just way too many passengers as they had only the one score above 75 from the final 10 players listed on their teamsheet.

Best
Wisconsin: Macrae, Waite, Miller, Gawn, Zorko, Rampe, Dunstan, Duncan
Colorado: Witts, Harbrow, Smith

Las Vegas Sinners 20.8.128 defeated Carolina Panthers 17.11.113
(Real: 1918 vs 1688)

Carolina a bit unlucky to go up against the Sinners the week Lloyd (173) and Mitchell (155x2) decided to go bonkers, but that's the way it's going to be I guess. The Panthers not too shabby but the Sinners just way ahead for the week, and they had a fair few good scorers other than the aforementioned two (see below).

Best
Las Vegas: Lloyd, Mitchell, Powell-Pepper, Franklin, De Goey, Rockliff, Sheppard, Caddy
Carolina: Ryan, Bontempelli, McKernan, Grundy, Shiel, Martin, Ellis-Yolman

Quito Quetzals 15.11.101 lost to San Francisco Grizzlies 15.14.104
(Real: 1522 vs 1565)

Finally won a second game but definitely deserved to lose - so many good players playing below their best! Shaw 54, Stewart 57, Hunter 74, Viney 68, Adams 71, Stef 79, need I go on? Jed Anderson, of all people, was the difference with his 113, while Tom Phillips (121) was the best for Quito who weren't too bad across the board and almost diddled me on HGA.

Best
San Francisco: Anderson, Wines, Steven
Quito: Phillips, Hopper

Houston Bombers 19.10.124 lost to Boston Terriers 20.9.129
(Real: 1855 vs 1941)

Now I'm not going to fact check this, but I'm fairly sure a new record has been set (obliterating the old record): most points added by the sub rule. The Terriers added 165 points from Cumming (16) to Darling (181) in an unprecedented gain as the 19th man won them the game, as a sub score of "only" 90 wouldn't have gotten them the win, but instead they get home by a fair margin. Houston unlucky to take the loss but they can be happy with a very decent score, lead by defensive rocks Tuohy, Hooker and Crisp - just I guess Rance (see: spud) was on Darling here too.

Best
Houston: Tuohy, Hooker, Riewoldt, Greenwood, Crisp, Beams
Boston: Darling, Hall, Howe, Goldstein, Neale, Laird, Sidebottom

Ottawa Otters 16.12.108 lost to Chicago Sharks 17.10.112
(Real: 1617 vs 1677)

Firstly I'll just say, isn't it just a great coincidence that Chicago manage 231 points less than when they played me a week ago? Ottawa were right in this and if it wasn't for only picking up 102 points between their three utilities (and 23 points from M6) they would've gotten up, with their stout backline leading the way with 123, 107, 97 and 113. The Sharks weren't great but they did enough to get another W.

Best
Ottawa: McGovern, Naitanui, McEvoy, Cutler, McLean
Chicago: McDonald, Gaff, Yeo, Parker, Fantasia

Anaheim Mighty Ducks 17.10.112 lost to New Brooklyn Hawks 18.9.117
(Real: 1685 vs 1753)

Very interesting game, as NBH get the win away against Anaheim on the back of Cripps' huge 152 as captain making up for a few deficiencies around the ground (Sauce I'm looking at you!). Anaheim had a few good scorers but were let down by five scores under 55, with Hibberd and Hannebery definitely in the firing line.

Best
Anaheim: McVeigh, Merrett, Lewis, Dangerfield, Heppell
Brooklyn: Cripps, Brown, Weller, Brayshaw, Gunston

Fuming, should've won that game by some margin. Haynes, Neal-Bullen, McCluggage tonning without being selected while other spuds stunk it up on field. Replacement captain terrible and ultimately gifted a freebie to an undeserving SF  >:(

powersuperkents

That commentary was ridiculously biased by suggesting that our side is relying upon a single player...

If you remove Macrae's VC score, my team would still have beaten:
- Carolina
- Quito
- San Francisco
- Ottawa
- Chicago; and
- Anaheim

Even if you remove both Macrae & Gawn, I would only just fall short of San Francisco's score this week... and that's without reassigning both the Captaincy and Vice Captaincy...

I had a 160 as an emergency so it goes both ways - admittedly I probably wouldn’t have named Melksham in a million years aha

Wasn’t implying that at all (see the 8 players named in the best), didn’t intend it to show like that at all. Good score but have to mention Macrae’s huge score

Colorado Avalanche   1-8   914   1026   89.08

Just the one change this week, as Chicago jump Houston and Carolina into the top six - but for how long? Carolina can claim a stake in the comp's unluckiest club stakes as they fall to 8th spot despite having scored more points than the four clubs above them (and only two points less than the club above that), while most clubs have started passing the 1000 point barrier for the season in points scored (Quito and Colorado aside) and against (Chicago aside).
