Islanders castaway Suns

Another day, another 150 for our premiership favourites, whereas Mexico City has posted consecutive 130+ scores! Perhaps last week wasn't a fluke?

Berlin Trio too much for Solid Spetsnaz

Moscow Spetsnaz (21.8.134) lost to Berlin Brewers (23.9.147)

This was a close game for much of the match, but performances from likely suspects in Fyfe & Gawn in-conjunction with a super JPK effort lead Berlin over the line. Daniher aside, it was a solid performance for Spetsnaz, who are unlucky not to have more wins from scoring consistently in this range.

Best
Moscow: Dyson Heppell, Adam Treloar, Jordan De Goey

Sandilands' Saints defeat Shuey-Less London

The injury struck Saints continue to post wins through astute captaincy selections, with Captain McLean combining with Sandilands to accommodate for 32% of the Saints score. But it wasn't needed in the end, with London simply not able to compete.

Christchurch Saints (22.6.138) def London Royals (17.6.108)

Surging Samurai defeat Sinking Sands

That's 3 wins in a row now for Tokyo! Tom Phillips has been a revelation for the Samurai this year. Meanwhile, Cairo's lack of a ruck is really starting to cost a couple of games for them.

Leaders are really starting to emerge for Buenos Aires, with Curnow and Webster starting to become trusted premium scorers. At the moment, I don't think PNL have any of those.

Zorko Thunder sends Jaguars scared

That's the Dayne Zorko we've all come to know! With partners in crime Neale and Grundy by his side, Beijing can beat anyone and Rio is no exception. The Jags have some obvious changes for next week, with Jake Neade's 13 better suited at Copacabana

Beijing Thunder (22.11.143) def Rio de Janeiro Jaguars (17.11.113)

It's worth noting that it was Pacific's first ever win against Mexico City, in their 7th attempt, whilst Beijing got their first win over Rio in their 4th attempt.

Congrats to Pacific and Beijing!

Nice to see we can score well when we actually have most of our players available

And you all thought our trading decisions were bad - younger list, more depth and good scoring potential :)

Hopefully Ryder can stay on the park now and our days of oop ruck are behind us

Toga

That'll do 8) Would love to see some more of that from Zork!

Webster starting to become trusted premium scorers

FFS, could use him down back about now :'(

1500+ with five of our best XV unavailable, depth players are doing a great job.  Moscow next week, followed by an important game against New Delhi.

It's also good to see that we don't have to rely on our Midfield to get a decent score.

Christchurch are in the top 8, London are not. Even if we've got 14 playing it'll be a walk in the park.

Remove our top scorer and captain Toby McLean and replace him with nothing, not even doubling the VC score and we still would have got the chocolates.

Such an amazing team this one, getting shower done despite missing Ablett, Wells, Waite, Langdon, Liberatore, MMurphy and Scully from our best XV. Others are moaning about the loss of their showerty D4 or U2 or F4 who can easily be replaced with some chump for minimal difference but we're missing actual guns. Not even including Hodor.

To be honest MM I had you pegged as dark horse for the comp until a few injuries ocurred.  Still think you can give it a shake.  Unlike London whose players are not consistent week to week.
