Las Vegas: 1343 add Taylor and Mitchell (c)
You'd back Las Vegas from here, unless Mitchell gets hurt early.

Again you'd back Wisconsin to get up from here, but definitely in the realm of possibility for a Quito win.

Poor week by the bombers (in two senses). Still have the runs on the board (unlike those cheating Australians) but can't see the Panthers losing.

Terrible week again (6 scores under 45, all by good scorers too bar AMT), but should get up.

Lost Charlie Cameron's score because of Juke's bs - but didn't stop me beating him last week despite my captain only scoring in the 30's (would have been a thrashing if Zorko had got a respectable score, rather than a near upset) :P

Quito (our old rivals when we were Santiago) has played well and, barring something special from my leadership group, the result is looking grim

= 1364 + GAJ (1.75) + Duncan + O'Meara

No Mitch Duncan means 60 from Saad comes on. No emergencies left for someone else to drop out (please). Is this the way the footy gods frown down upon loopholing in a keeper league?

Colorado Avalanche 15.11.101 lost to Las Vegas Sinners 17.9.111
(Real: 1519 vs 1672)

Not too shabby by the Avalanche, but just not good enough to beat the Sinners, lead again by captain Mitchell's big score. Jarryd Lyons also went huge for the Sinners, but they'll be extremely disappointed by Rockliff playing like a sack of spuds (but even then, that's being harsh on the spuds). Polec was the best afield for the Avalanche, but their young stars aren't shining through too much just yet. In the reserves, Jeff Garlett set the standard with a huge 152 as the Coyotes look set for a big tilt at back-to-back premierships.

In the most discussed match of the round (by far), and in the wake of the big Australian cricket cheating scandal, the Cockerels get home, at home, semi-comfortably, although not without a lot of pressure from several sources. If Vice-Captain Jeremy Cameron could've gotten a real vice-captain score, and if sub Billy Longer Callum Mills or Roughead didn't play awfully they would've gotten up, but alas it was not to be - the loophole cheats Cockerels get home. Tom Lynch was huge and was helped by great delivery from Curnow, Swallow, and Higgins.

Just not enough by the bombers, as the Panthers jump to 2-0 on the back of Martin's big day. Sloane as captain was the one real shining light for Houston who were let down by a bunch of passengers, namely VC Beams.

I won't go over it here, pm me for the many stupid things that happened to give this result - looking at who's named in the best gives a minor indication (look at me starting on the things here), but so does Scully's 19 (also HGA), Mayes 45 (good player), Stef 63 (superstar), Watts 44 (gun last week), Jack 50 (gun last week), Young 43 (gun last week), McDonald-Tipungwuti 37 (he's alright)...but I reckon blaming Jack Watts mostly is fair, that's worked well for Melbourne supporters for a decade!

Lived up to it's match-of-the-round hype by producing a great spectacle. Questionable selection tactics left the Terriers a bit poorly off (Christensen OOP in the backline, Thomas brought on so no sub, Zach Guthrie also coming in) but they just got home in the end, and they can thank their lucky stars that Burgoyne got hurt, and that Sandilands and Puopolo could only manage 42 each. Both captains (Selwood 140 and Dangerfield 130) were fantastic, vice-captains were okay (Neale 96 and Merrett 95), but a few too many passengers on both teams for their likings. And to really rub salt in the wound...the Terriers won the ressies as well.

Another very close game, with home ground advantage getting the Sharks over the line...just! Clayton Oliver (146) was the best-on-ground - as captain - in a match-winning performance, while Matt Crouch (51) getting injured as VC for the Hawks probably cost them the match, although Membrey (30) and Weller (50) didn't help either. As for the reserves, the Bears got the one-point win as well...ouch! Taylor Duryea did well but just not enough to get them over the line.

Because I can't read aha - he was the Colorado sub and I must have looked up there rather than to the game below when I was doing my writeup. Scores are all correct I assure you, just I looked at the team right above yours for that part of your loss reasoning/explanation!
