Reaching out with a tricky one;

Current situation; Coffield D3, Keefe D8, Walters F4, Giles-Langdon F6

Walters + Giles Langdon (F4/6) vs Angus Brayshaw + Bundy (D3/F4) ...... which would move Keeffe to F8 and field Venables or Ryan until first upgrade is a back rookie to F4 with Keeffe swing back
Feel in this situation you're going too deep in the mids, which is sacrificing a lot on your other lines.

Would downgrade a mid and aim for Christensen at F4, and a DEF prem at D3.

You could be right, but the sacrifice could also be very beneficial if it plays out how I would like it to. In my example Bundy is at F4 just confirming.

If you had to choose what would you do? I went with Brayshaw and Bundy - evens out better imo and have 3 very good prems ahead of Bundy to keep me content.

If forced to, probably Brayshaw + Bundy, but I'd have Giles-Langdon ahead of Venables.

Cheers, very sound thinking. Just worried Giles-Langdon will get pushed out of the team and having Venables/Ryan should guarantee always at least 1 playing

I reckon ZGL takes Stevie J's spot ;). But can see your reasoning.

Danger and Holman. OR
Dusty and Brayshaw/Brodie not Dow who didn't impress in JLT

Surely you can't start Danger at 750k with so many question marks...

- Does his injury affect his output?
- Does Ablett take away points?
- Does Selwood switch back on?
- Does he just start slow and lose a ton of cash?

No chance for me.

Hibberd, Walters, Libba, Armo

Vs

Josh Kelly, Zerrett, Sicily, Doedee on field

Are u trying to turn as many away from him as u can so he is more a POD?lol
If he's injured he won't play. If he plays he's over the injury and 100% right to go. Why risk your best player in round one?
Selwood isn't really the issue either.
The issue is GAJ and how the Cats will  play him and Paddy. I'm still on the fence and wish he was injured for a 2-4 week period cos his price just compromises rest of team.
The big worry leaving him out is he goes bang, you can't make up the lost points elsewhere, down the rankings u go and he is pain in the rear to get in with 3 trades minimum.
