::)

R Lobb  V  anybody $425,000 and under. Noticed Lobb not on injury list. Is this forgotten soldier a Rd.1 chance now  ??

:-\
I'm wary of Lobb. Bugger all preseason   with groin issues heading into round one for the first time as no.1 ruck. Couldn't be rested for Dawson  first sign of trouble as they won't want to take any risks with him.
Can u find 15k for Devon?

Agree 100%
Lobb will almost certainly prove good value, though worth holding on for a bit I think. With all the cheap options in the forwards this year there are plenty of others which will provide more bang for your buck!
Petracca or Smith aren't much more, but are probably a lot safer.

Money Shot

M. Crouch + Brayshaw v Libba + O'meara/Armitage

Hopefully Danger plays round 1 and I don't have to worry about this but assuming he doesn't it will come down to either one of these combinations.

110+65 v 100+80 would be my conservative scores meaning option 2 would win comfortably in regards to points but is an extra keeper worth more than 15 points per week?

175 vs. 180 is only 5 points different MS ;)

Option 1 for mine, Brayshaw going to be a great cash cow, and M. Crouch will finish in the top 10 mids come seasons end. Other two are just stepping stones.

Yeah true think it is the much safer option.

Mills (D4) & Graham (M8) + $3K vs. Libba (M7 w/ JOM M8) & Coffield (D4) + $69K

I would go Graham and Coffield and use the cash elsewhere. Don't like Mills and not sold on Liba's resurgence.

Cripps + JOM vs Conigs + Libba

I like the first option. Less speculation imo.
With the second option you're punting that Libba drops his tagging role AND returns to his pre-broken leg best. Not for me.

jricey

Danger vs. Mitchell now that Danger will miss round 1.

If he does indeed miss round 1, Mitchell easily.

I'd lean towards Titch too, but I wouldn't say easily. Titch is more consistent but Dusty has a huge ceiling so is an awesome VC option with or without Danger whereas Titch is more a fallback C option.

He said Danger vs. Mitchell, not Martin vs. Mitchell ;)

Perts24

Merrett v Gibbs v Parker

Merrett has averaged 111 and 109 in past 2 seasons so is probably the safest option but how much room does he have to improve?

Parker's last 5 averages have been 86,108,99,112,99,... surely is due for another jump and has completed a full pre-season and is looking very good in JLT

Gibbs is now in a much better team with plenty of quality mids around him, attended the most center bounces for adelaide during the JLT and you'd think wouldn't cop a tag over sloane. Looks like he should get a lot of the ball and also push forward and kick a couple of snags.

Who would you guys choose and why?
