Matt Guelfi has done enough today to suggest he will get plenty of games.

Inside mid and great defensive pressure which in general is something we lack.
Just hope Woosha doesn't put him on the rookie merry-go-round like the other kids and drop him back to the 2s every second week.

Yep, mature-ager as well. Will bring him in this week & then Mirra next week.

When hin and mirra on the bubble a double downgrade will b on the cards

speaking of mid's AK, surely Clarke and Mutch aren't too far away? Absolutely wrecking face in the VFL  ???

I want to bring Guelfi in early too but being a fwd only makes it a bit risky. Already have Venables there who'll probably miss a little bit

why not bring in Coff instead

Price. Not paying 171k for him

Brikett

What are our overall thoughts on Coffield?

170k is a lot and I'm not sure he's shown enough to justify that price tag.

David Mirra has been by far my best initial selection.

I don't know whether to laugh, or cry.  :P

Any idea on Mirra's JS?

Anyone's guess really

Just hope he continues to play well and holds his spot

It's not often a rookie comes into the Hawthorn side without getting dropped at some point though, so that's worth keeping in mind, but at D8 he should be fine - I wouldn't be making plans that involve him being a permanent D6/7 just yet

RaisyDaisy

Ahern had a game high 29 touches on the weekend - hopefully he's not far off because we're going to need mid downgrade options sooner rather than later

Toga

Graham suspended for the Tiges. If he misses you would think Higgins gets another crack, JS still questionable though.

Higlet will get games though, would be happy to plonk him on the mid bench.
