Garlett won't be dropped anytime soon :-*

Gonna be the classic small forward tonne people have on the bench and try and bring in a zero to get ;) happens legit every year in the Rich v Tigs game

Reminiscent of Butler last year.

Menadue the year before

Hes rotating between the middle and half forward. It's not like he is playing really deep. He hasn't laid a tackle either. Might be a little different but like I said he's one I'd grab R3 pending his role. Kennedy could miss some time with the ankle depending the severity. Couldn't really even put weight on it

The way he went down the second time almost looked like a achillies

Yeah it's a worry. I guess it means we might rush Lang in.

Samsturmfels

At least Garlett only got 61 from 17 touches and 2 goals.

Think he was a must to provide the midfield link, looks set for a string of games now.

eaglesman

Couple of clangers in the second half but looks a good selection

Is Murphy from Adelaide worth a risk at D8? Or will he make way in a few weeks?

Likely out sooner rather than later but as this match showed, one injury happens and then you're in the clear for enough time to make money. So up to you!

I reckon he is a better shout of keeping his spot than Barry ... saying that I’m gonna wait and see on him and see if he plays round 3.

Currently have bonner and it could be my correction.

Don't stress about Bonner, he's well and truly in the 22 for Port. He will play even when Pittard is back, Broadbent is going to find it tough earning his spot back. The only reason I selected Barry was because the combination of Pittard being out for 5 weeks and the Port adelaide bench. They potentially have other players that could go out before Barry (Marshall AND Howard means they have got a heck of a lot of tall timber and if that doesn't function well this week, expect to see Marshall out and Gray in) so as long as Barry isn't the worst bloke on the park for Port, I think he can at least get a price rise or two. Then you just hope he snags a game here and there to make you money from M11

Spend 200k+ on a D4 or spend 102k on Murphy,  that's how I looked at it and I've picked Murphy

Even if he gets dropped I'll use him to loophole D6 moving forward, and Mirra/Mihocek could get a game eventually so a correction to them is possible too

I also grabbed Barry after looking at their bench. I figured Marshall out for Gray next week and the team looks pretty settled. I'm hoping he doesn't have to see the field anyway

How about a simple Keeffe vs Murphy at D8 .... hard to decide until we see if Keeffe is named, but both will most likely end as a donut perhaps. Maybe Murphy is worth a chance.

Bit worried about Barry's job security with Amon not picked alongside him. If he messes up at all I can easily see Amon coming in and taking his place in the team. Marshall out for Gray seems likely next week but it would mean a very different structure which seems a bit weird. Maybe Sam Gray loses his spot for Robbie? Either way it seems there might be too much competition for spots for Barry to get lots of games without injuries.
