Brayshaw's working into it nicely today with some more TOG. Banfield and probably Finlayson are probably on the chopping block for an upgrade/downgrade.

I traded Banfield out this week and kept Brayshaw, so that's looking alright so far but to be honest I just ditched Banfield first because he had made more but it's good to see Brayshaw doing well today

Appleby is an interesting one - might be the last Def downgrade option for a while

Not sure Eagles will be one

Might upgrade Billings this week.

Oh wait, he's not a flowering rookie. ::)

No, he's worse than a rookie haha

Would Mitch Crowden be worth downgrading this week over Holman/Brashaw?

He just doesn’t seem to have the scoring ability at all, apart from a 70 a few weeks back.

Brayshaw working into some form and Holman should keep ticking along.

Literally think I'll play Spargo ahead of him next week

Actually liked the look of Appleby today and think he has cemented his spot in Pies back line.  May not score big as a pure defender but with consistent 55 - 60 will have a nice price rise,

Eagles looked good but his disposal was a little off - Gave away 3 free kicks which effected his score. Not afraid to take a backward step. JS a little shaky as I think he may go for Roberston next week but wait and see.

Was tempted to leave peteacca in my team and play fritsch. Or het spargo down there and take his score

This week

Spargo, Ronke, Mutch, Worpel, Appleby

Next week

Ballard, Crossley, Eagles

Is that it?

Next week's don't appeal to me at all (Crossley RUC only sucks) so with not much rookies coming through do we think the double downgrade is a must this week?

*EDIT added Ronke NFI how I forgot lol*

Ronke this week too.

I dunno, I really don't want to do a double downgrade this week because I already have 200k in the bank and am fast losing patience with the rookies i'm fielding...

I guess it will come down to team selection on Thursday though. If a few decent options are named for a debut (ie. Constable, Ahern, Stoddart, Goddard, Freeman types) then I might just stick with 1 up/1 down this week and grab a Round 8 debutant early the week after instead of Eagles/Ballard maybe.

RaisyDaisy

Yeah I'm thinking the same - need to wait for teams before I decide on what to do as I have Lids and Kelly on the bench and their status will influence my decision

Already got Spargo, so I can double down and grab Ronke/Mutch and then double up the following week, or 1 down 1 up this week, but that's only if there looks to be more options the following week

If we don't get any new rookies this week then I might double down even though it's a little frustrating but the double up the following week would be sweet  :D

So what do we think of next week's bubble boys?

Worpel and Mutch probably haven't done enough for me to get them, but Ronke looks alright if he can hold a spot

Besides Spargo (who I already have) is there anyone else next week?
Looking like I will get Ronke and possibly Mutch. Will be interested in how Appleby goes for Pies but not sure of his JS.
I might still go with Mutch, 17 touches at 70% isn't a bad effort at all (to go along with 20 touches at 75% the week before), just maybe needs a few more CPs and tackles. Did he junk up a bit late in the game? I wasn't watching but if he did, would explain the poor DT:SC ratio.

Essendon did drop Guelfi for what seemed to be no apparent reason so wouldn't be holding my breath about Mutch.

Guelfi just rested because of the short turnaround due to Anzac Day I believe, so should come back in

It said omitted though. Would usually say rested or managed if it was for that

I think that might be because the club didn't state an official reason, and he's not the injury list. Could be proven wrong, but don't think he did anything to warrant getting dropped on form

Guelfi did not play in the VFL so could be back this week.

We have Fantasia to come back (who also played VFL) who could well come in for Mutch. Dylan Clarke had another 30 disposals. Surely he isn't far away from a debut.

Lachie Keene? Next week relevant if only for the Def/Fwd link with Sicily.
