^^^Exactly :)

Alright, so I'm sure I'm not the only one who needs a rookie downgrade option this week. Who are we liking?

As far as I can tell we have Cole and Duman as def options, possibly Mirra too considering he'll still be cheaper than Cole

Poholke even with his DPP I think is a pass, and Ronke as a fwd is the only option I'd consider going a week early on

That's it as far as I can tell, so it's not great, but I like most might have to just the roll the dice because I need a downgrade this week

Holman to Worpel for me, then need to work out what to do with Billings.

I'm actually thinking Holman up

Holman to JPK would only cost about 190k

Holman to Zerrett about 250k

Then the following week one of Banfield/Brayshaw to Worpel. Probably Brayshaw, just to keep Banfield as a better cover option a bit longer

JPK on my radar too, will be around 440k.

Spargo looking good early and if he keeps position handy as well with DPP.  Garlett to Spargo could be on foe $100k

Desperately need a MID/FWD rookie to open up DPP and Spargo has looked great today

I'll likely be going early on him and grabbing him this week

Mutch looks good too, but I'll look at him, Worpell and Ronke next week when they're on the bubble

SilverLion

Also Petruccelle playing later today to keep in mind as well.

Bully

Will grab Spargo early.

I think excellent, wasn't just playing forward but had a run in the middle. Think Melbourne really rate this kid. Out of all the rookies he was the standout, although I still rate Worpel very highly.

Duman worth a look if named next week?

Not sure if there are too many other defensive downgrade options on the way, thinking of trading Murray down to free up some coin.

Was ok but didn't strike me as an essential piece in the Freo side.

Does Spargo lose his spot to Petracca when he returns?

Not if he plays like he did on the weekend

Having both Spargo and Fritsch might be a good hedge too, just in case

Petracca comes in for ANB imo

Garlett is the main competition, but he didn't light it up in the VFL on the weekend and Casey has a bye this week so won't worry Spargo for at least two games. Tim Smith is also waiting in the wings though after racking up 25 touches and 12 tackles on Saturday.

Considering we have Saints, Suns and Blues in the next three Spargo can hopefully cement himself as part of a 'winning formula' and also snag a few goals against some average opposition. I reckon he's safer than Ronke if people wanted to take one early this week

I'll be bringing in Spargo this week and Mutch/Worpel next week. I think all look very promising and good options to downgrade maxed out rookies.
