my friends are calling Irving MVP (celtics fans)

back me up on this, they have to be joking.

22 3 6 on 45% FG and 35% from 3 is not a MVP.

I dont care what seed you are.

Irving is a top 10 in MVP rankings easily but not top 5. People are sleeping on Horford has been amazing so far this season too.

Giannis, Harden, Curry, Durant and LeBron are in a tier clearly ahead of Irving. You could argue Irving, Westbrook, Boogie, AD and Blake in another tier followed by Porzingis, Oladipo, Aldridge and some others I might be missing

I would not have Westbrook in that next tier, otherwise you also need to add PG and Melo as they are averaging the same pts and shots (weird isnt it).  Swap Porzingis and Westbrook and that works for me.

I think its pretty clear they are all trying to let each other score as all 3 where #1 options and they are trying to show they are team players.

They are all getting the same points but russ is getting 9 boards and 11 assists  instead of 5 5 for the other 2 guys.

I reckon those tiers are pretty accurate

I'd put Porzingis in that tier with Irving, if not higher. He is incredible.

Didn't want to buy too hard into the Porzingis hype but yeah he probably should be

Lonzo becomes the youngest player in the NBA to record a triple-double. Went off against the Bucks today.

Embiid with 46 points, 15 boards, 7 assists and 7 blocks  :o

Imagine a 50 point quadruple double he wasnt too far off it.

I wonder if lebron to philly an option. Not sure if cap allows but imagine simmons fultz george lebron embiid with saric off the bench.

So Philly just magically sign Paul George and LeBron?

Why stop there?
Simmons, Harden, George, LeBron, Embiid with KD off the bench.
