Eagles vs Freo scores unscaled but we won

Colorado Avalanche 15.13.103 defeated New Brooklyn Hawks 15.12.102
(Real: 1550 vs 1533)

Ouch ouch ouch, as the Hawks lose another game by a point as they are diddled on HGA. Colorado VC Ebert was a clear best-on-ground and was a match winner, while the Crouch brothers were their usual selves - but the Hawks were riddled with very low scores, as youngsters Parish, SPS, and Parfitt scored sub-55, Sauce Jacobs could only manage 60, Steele 59, and Dan McKenzie just 29. Colorado had a couple scores in the 20s - Frost 25 and Hartung's OOP 28 - but were better and more consistent around the lineup. Cripps and Weller were given an opportunity to win the Hawks the game but fell 18 points short.

Best
Colorado: Ebert, Gray
Brooklyn: Sidebottom, Crouch, Crouch, Gunston, Newnes

Houston Bombers 18.10.118 defeated Ottawa Otters 16.12.108
(Real: 1777 vs 1618)

The Otters were definitely in with a sniff, especially leading into today, but were clearly overrun by the Bombers. Captain Kreuzer did the damage for the Bombers, with help today from Riewoldt and Beams, while Cunnington, Shiels, and Treloar in the midfield set the tone early for the Otters.

Best
Houston: Adams, Kreuzer, Riewoldt, Beams, Heeney, Ellis
Ottawa: Cunnington, Shiels, Treloar, McLean, McEvoy, Dixon

Wisconsin Cockerels 17.9.111 lost to Chicago Sharks 17.13.115
(Real: 1669 vs 1722)

Wow - could Wisconsin's finals chances hang by a thread with this loss at home? Captain Zorko failed the Cockerels (as did several others), while Hurn's late heroics were instrumental in getting the Sharks over the line. Steven May's injury was a cruel blow for Wisconsin, while Gawn, Shuey, and Billings disappointed, while youngsters Wallis and Hunt were good for Chicago and they had minimal poor performances, aside from Tom McDonald and The Package.

Best
Wisconsin: Ablett, Macrae, Witherden, Duncan, Hartlett, Whitfield
Chicago: Hurn, Wallis, Hunt, Lynch, Ryder

Btw my scores:

Las Vegas Sinners 120 defeated San Francisco Grizzlies 114
(Real: 1802 vs 1712)

Close but no cigar. Lucky I didn't have HGA because then I would've lost by a point (SC)! Rocky as captain held back the Sinners from a genuine big score which hurt, as did having a low-scoring sub (53), but they had a fair few lucky well above-average scorers - especially up forward. Meanwhile, for the Grizzlies, it was the unexpected players who stood up - sub Douglas, renaissance man Jack, the fringe Andrew Swallow, and young gun Tom Papley. If SF had Viney, Coniglio, Deledio, and/or Watts available it would've been a good game, but instead they go down - but because of the Cockerels loss they'll be locked into fifth, while the Sinners will have a do-or-die match next week for a finals spot.

Best
Las Vegas: Mitchell, Fyfe, Mumford, Franklin, Walker, Westhoff, De Goey
San Francisco: Wines, Douglas, Jack, Swallow, Papley
